Chapter Three

I slowly opened my eyes and at first I was oblivious of my surroundings because It looked strange I wasn't in my room and I blinked again but I couldn't still see Blenda with a smile standing beside my bed and then I remembered that I was now married and in my husband's house.speaking of husband where was he I turned around but I could not find him beside me or anywhere in the room.I slowly stood up and stretched while making my way to the bathroom,I really missed Blenda preparing my bath and this time I made sure I carried everything I would be needing in the bathroom.I brushed my teeth and had my bath then after about 20 minutes I was done with everything I came out feeling refreshed I put on my cloth a blue strapless short gown and sat down to do my hair,I rarely did my hair alone cause Blenda was always there to do it for me I was almost done when Mrs Rose knocked on the door softly "good morning ma breakfast is ready and young master is at the table waiting for you"

"Ok Mrs Rose"I said as she closes the door gently and left the room.It was not good to keep a man waiting I thought as I remembered one of the advices my mom had given me before I left the house.i quickly hurried up and left the room I just let my hair flow. I walked downstairs gently and when I arrived at the dinning Ethan was already sitted there

"Good morning wife"he said as I approached the table

"Good morning"I replied with a shy smile the man staring at me was too handsome to be true and his smile was very captivating

"I hope you had a good night rest"

"yes I did thank you for asking"

"Are you not going to ask about my night"he said with a little frown .shit why didn't I ask about his night I muttered to my self

"im sorry how was your night"I said with a little smile

"it was quiet ok I slept with a pretty woman beside me "he said with a smirk .Did he just call me pretty I said to my self but I had a very wide smile on the outside.Mrs Rose served us breakfast and we ate in silence after eating Ethan said he needed to carry out some work in the study .I was bored so I decided to survey the building,I walked around the compound a little bit and I became tired because the compound was too big I finally sat on the swing in the garden and decided to call my mom.I took out my phone and called her she seemed very excited to hear my voice and I spoke to my brother too and even Blenda but I could not speak to my dad cause he was busy as usual after the call ended I dropped my phone and continued staring at the view in front of me

"Enjoying some fresh air?" I heard someone say and I turned to see that it was Ethan behind me ,he had his hand behind his back and his hair seemed a little messy God this man was handsome!

"yes I am"I finally said with a smile

"can u join you?"

"sure"I replied making room for him on the swing although there was already enough room for him.He walked over and sat down beside me then the awkward silence thing again, I just kept on staring at the floor as if I was searching for something thinking of what to say to break the silence but Ethan suddenly spoke up breaking the silence and I was happy about that

"so are you enjoying yourself so far?"

"yes I am thank you for asking"

"why do you always speak so formally are we not married?or is it a princess thing?"I didn't know what to say and I could not admit that I was just too shy anytime I saw him so I quickly lied

"yes it's a princess thing, princess are trained to respect and honor their husbands and also be very submissive to them"I said quickly

"well I guess that only applies if they get married to a king of which I am not"

But you are my king I wanted to say but immediately I just kept quiet and said nothing looking away.Then the awkward silence but Ethan spoke up again

"so what do you do for fun?"

Fun? did I really have anything I did for fun my days were always spent locked in the palace reading books and attending balls sor learning how to fight but the fighting part was not really necessary since I was only but a girl but I still did it just to cure boredom

"Well I don't really have things I do for fun fun I just stay in the palace read books or maybe scroll through the Internet and attend royal balls"

"ouch that sounds a little bit boring "he said looking at me and I couldn't help but laugh because I was happy I wasn't the only person who thought all those activities were boring

"wow you laughed your laugh sounds heavenly"he said looking at me with those blue eyes that always made my heart beat how could a single comment from someone made me have all this incredible feelings

"thank you"I said so faintly

"your welcome,I just wanted to tell you that we would be having dinner at my parents house today so be ready by 7"

he said and stood up moving inside

"ok" I replied softly.This man my husband the most handsome man I had seen In my entire life,at first when I saw him I thought he would be all cold and mean like the mean ceo's I read about in novels but he seemed very different.I stood up and decided to go inside and have a nap before dinner and I really hoped things would work out well between I and Ethan.
