His Human Luna

I was standing in-front of the bathroom mirror drying my long black hair with a towel as a process of the events that happened . Being the middle child I was naturally always the one unnoticed by my family . Growing up I got good grades, not perfect, not bad , just normal . I had a good elementary and middle school experience. I wasn’t shy but not social either . I was always on the safe side , never having dared to get out of my comfort zone . I spent my childhood reading books and picturing myself with my future significant other . Although I never made an effort to get a boyfriend. I just liked fictional men . When my 17th birthday came I realized that I spent most of my life in the comfort zone and never really tried different things. I wanted to change that . I asked my parents if they could move me to a new school in Beckley , as I heard it was a prestigious high school that many universities accepted graduates from . It was a form of escape for me I wanted to change . I wrapped the towel around my body as I exited the bathroom and went to my bedroom . It was time to start unpacking , the only thing worse than packing . I didn’t really have an idea what I wanted to do in my life , but I know it’s definitely something to do with art . After 3 hours I managed to put everything in its place in my new room. I was really happy with the result but really exhausted. I deserved to rest after this but I decided to explore the city . I left my one room apartment still in awe of how tidy it is . I checked the list of things I needed , I just needed to buy some groceries and maybe make some new friends . I was wearing a simple yet cute outfit , it was a light blue oversized sweater with some grey sweatpants and some air forces . My hair was open loose as I wanted it to air dry . As for makeup I just wore some concealer and my lip tint . I was looking pretty cute. I stand at 5’2 which is taller than my mom who is 4’11 . That thought always makes me feel happy . Anyways, I took the bus station to the city center . The city center was a lot larger than I expected. It had lots of shops that sell so many different things . When I entered the first supermarket I found I bought some essentials such as hair ties , tampons , pads and ofc my groceries such as flour and vegetables and oil etc . The stuff I bought wasn't much but they sure were heavy. I decided to call an Uber at 7 pm and I didn’t want to go home after sunset . When I reached home I changed my clothes and immediately fell on my bed and went to the dream world . I had a dream of me walking in the forest and then stopped when I saw a beast following me. It had shining silver eyes. It was like something I had never seen before. The moment I saw him I stopped in my tracks. I was scared shitless but I didn’t move . The wolf took small steps towards me and I stayed still , the moment the wolf was right in front of me I woke up panting heavily . The next morning I woke up and decided to take a small jog in the park near my apartment. I was jogging while listening to music and thinking about my dream , talk about multi-tasking . I felt weird as if that dream had some sort of connection to my future . I stopped myself as I didn’t want to lose the track of working on myself to improve , to no longer be average . I was going to my new school tomorrow so I haven't got much time to change some bad habits about myself . After thirty minutes , I went back home and took a shower then as I was drying my hair I got a call from my best friend Sofia . I realized I miss her so much when I heard her voice . She said “Isabelle you b***h how could u forget about me the minute you left for Becky” . I started to cry and said “Sofia you have no idea how much I miss you , life on my own is tuff without you” , she started to cry as well and she said , “ I seriously can’t without you I think I also want to move to Beckley , u have been gone for two days And I’m going insane” . We both talked our hearts out for 2 hours until Sofia’s mom told her she needed to go back to her studies . I then took out my laptop and started my work. I'm actually a graphic designer. I started answering some emails and accepting work. I decided to accept some of the work requests such as logo designing. I had time , since the due date was in three weeks for all my work , but still I wanted a heads up . After an hour I stopped since I needed to get to bed as I’ll be going to school starting tomorrow .
