04. Welcome Home

After clearing the security checks, the black gates opened up.

The car went through and I was stunned to see a huge building up front.

"Shutup." I suddenly spoke out surprising my dark suited escorts.

"Excuse me?"

"Sorry, for my language. I didn't mean it literally, I'm just shocked. But correct me if I'm wrong, guys is that a castle?!"

Jason and Roman chuckled out amused by my reaction.

"Yes. it is."

"Oh, my god aunt Bella lives in a castle?"

"She used to, but not anymore."

"What?"

"The castle has been in our family for more than 400 centuries. It's more of a hotel for our most distinguished guests that come to discuss business meeting with our clan house."

[R] More over our clan warriors occupy it and use the castle for parties and training.

[J] Shhhh, she's not supposed to know that.

[R] Or know the fact that we have dungeons down at the basement, where we keep our prisoners.

"Oh? Well, can I get a tour, I'd like love to explore it?"

"Ofcourse princess, I don't mind showing you around privately." Roman gave me a wink, making me shuffle in my seat, awkwardly.

"Oh, I was hoping Mr Morretti would show me around, if he doesn't mind?"

[R] She likes you!

[J] I know.

He gazed back at me through his driver's mirror and I couldn't help but blush as I shyly avrted my eyes away.

"Yes, I'll be happy to show you around, once my I find a free slot in my schedule." I smiled, getting stupid happy inside.

The car drove on, and soon came by a couple of huge looking mansions.

The one in the middle was the biggest one.

Jason then pulled the car to a stop. I unbuckled myself, and soon he opened the door like the perfect gentleman and gave me his hand to take. I couldn't help but blush, and shied away from his gaze down at me.

Why did Jason have such an effect on me?

"Master Roman and Jason. You're finally here." Called a male voice up front coming out of the huge mansion in the middle.

Another handsome man came by. He was smartly dressed in a black penguin looking uniform.

"Evening, Miss Kiana Malhotra. My name is Mr Ryo Tanaka, the head butler of the Verrono household." We shook hands and we noted that he had dark brown eyes with a hint of purple in them.

"Hi, nice to meet you."

Roman's phone than rang out and then he came infront of me.

"Princess, I wish I could join you for dinner, but me and Jason need to be elsewhere right now." Roman said giving Jason a strict silent look.

I suddenly caught Jason's arm, surprising him when he turned around.

Oh my god!

What am I doing?!

I quickly let go, not wishing to be rude and making him uncomfortable with my sudden actions.

"You're leaving too, Mr Moretti?"

You stupid butthole, stop sounding desperate and clingy! Let the man breathe!

"Yes, but don't worry Ryo will take care of you and I'll see you in the morning." Jason then took my hand and kissed the back of it, making my heart flutter.

"Till then, have a pleasant evening." He stroked his thumb carrying my hand in a warm kind way, making me like him, even more, when he did that.

"O-ok." I mumbled nervously as he let go and turned on his heel.

Jason smiled, delighted that the girl showed clear signs that she liked him.

[R] You sly dragon, that was my move!

Roman, on the other hand looked kind of pissed and jealous that his beta dragon had caught her attention.

[J] Well, look here she didn't retract her hand away, like she did with you. Just face it Roman. She likes me.

[R] Yeah, well brace yourself, something tells me she'll fall head over heels when she sees Henry.

Jason rolled his eyes, and secretly hated the fact that Roman was right.

Majority of the females turned their heads like owls when ever Henry walked passed them. He was an Alpha dragon, that carried power, grace and a deadly beauty that most females could not resist.

The secret dragons, then walked away heading towards the direction of the castle.

[J] Listen do you have any Moon Pills?

[R] Sure?

Roman pulled out a pill, and Jason quickly ate one, to keep his sudden inner dragon spirit beast calm.

"What's wrong with you?"

"It's nothing, I just feel on edge because the full moon is around the corner."

Wrong. The truth was that Jason, loved Kiana's scent. More over she had released a mild scent of her arousal, when he kissed the back of her hand.

"It's her isn't it?"

"What? No."

"C'mon, no need to lie to your second in command. I know you like her Jason."

Jason smiled and rolled his eyes, not answering him. The truth was he did like her, but he didn't anyone to know.

Especially not his alpha dragons.

Meanwhile, Ryo took over and escorted her inside.

Kiana was stunned Aunt Bella's mansion looked like a grand seven star hotel inside.

"Wow, this place is huge."

Ryo, was really charming, welcoming and polite as he showed me around.

The Mansion had many floors.

The top most floor had an extravagant rooftop, the top most floor belonged solely to aunt Bella, as her private chambers were located up there.

The second floor had a eight private guest rooms, all had their own bathroom.

The third floor consisted of the library room were most of the family meetings took place.

The fourth floor had the lavish dinning room.

The fifth floor consisted of the kitchen.

The sixth floor had the staff quarters and finally the basement was where the laundry room was.

Ryo then opened my room on the second floor and I was blown away.

"I hope the room is to your liking? We had it re-painted."

Ryo said as I stepped inside a beautiful room, with peach walls, a white ceiling with an shandaliar hanging from the centre.

The bed was huge enough to fit atelast two people and it had blue duvet covers that complimented that contrasted well with the wall colour.

I was in awe as I took note of the huge walk in closet, but what really caught my was the patio door that Ryo opened up.

"Why do I feel like Julliet?"

I asked as I stepped out the huge balcony, that over looked the out door swimming pool and had a great view of the forrest.

Ryo chuckled, at my comment.

"Well this Mansion was semi designed as the castle next door. Most of the rooms on the second closet have balconies, Miss Malhotra."

"It's beautiful."

Ryo then smiled and a knock came on the door.

"Ah, your luggage is here."

"Evening Miss Malhotra, my name is Miss Sooki Stone. The head maid of the house hold." She smiled greeting me warmly with a hug.

"Oh? Hi Miss Stone, nice to met you." I smiled pulling away from her rather strong grip.

"If you require any need to call me or Ryo to your room for any assistance, you can reach us on speed dial 1 on the phone, or if we are unavailable, you can try and buzz us." She showed me a few switches on the bed side making me, nod in understanding.

"Ooh, what are these buttons?"

"They control the lights in the room. You also have a switch to control Alexa and this button can automatically open or drape your curtains..."

The beautiful head maid with red curly hair explained. Wow this room was tech savy.

Despite them both having weird auras. I found them to be very warm and friendly.

Ryo then taught me how to operste the tech savy bathroom that had a tone of water switches.

[S] Oh, my god! She looks so adorable and smells amazing!

[R] Yes, she smells good like chocolates. Weird are lambs supposed to smell like that?

[S] Not really, they usually smell like pigs.

"Thankyou Mr Tanaka and Miss Stone, for showing how the buttons work."

"You must be hungry from your journey, I'll have the chef whip you something up."

"Oh, gosh no. I'm just jet lagged and I've already eaten on the plane. I simply wish to put my clothes away have a nice shower and go to sleep on thst amazing cozy looking bed."

Ryo and Sookie nodeed their heads in understanding.

"As you wish Miss Malhotra. We'll leave you to get settled in." Ryo then started making his way out the door.

"Remember if there's anything you need at all, don't hesitate to—"

"To, call. Thankyou guys." I smiked in appriciation as Ryo gently pulled a curious looking Sookie away from me.

I then closed the door behind me and turned towards my room.

The first thing I did was plop on my bed and let out a huge sigh.

Everything about this place was top notch and perfect.

So, why were my Apsara senses on edge around them?

More over why did they give me auras like that of wild animals?
