Austin followed us up the stairs to our room. “I heard people talking about you today Ruth." He started. "They were so impressed to see a human psychic. Everyone kept asking me if I knew you. I do obviously but I told everyone I don’t.” He shrugged. “They were only assuming we knew each other because we’re both human." He said in an annoyed tone. "Anyways I have something I want Jezebeth to check for me.”
“Me?” I walked to the door. “Okay.” I was glad he was asking me for a favor because I wanted to connect more with my new found family.
