A shot at Love

It was a sunny afternoon , I had just returned from a work trip so I decided to stop at my boyfriend's place , he was so surprised to see me , "babe what are you doing here ?" he ask , I was super excited to see my boyfriend after two weeks so I hugged him he suggested going out but I was so I tired that I just wanted to rest . Andrew was acting weird so I ask him " babe are you okay ? he insisted that he was fine so I let him be . I was about discussing how my day went with him when a sudden knock came Andrew had no friends so I was surprised when the knock came he insisted on opening the door but I urged him to so he did . Suddenly a lady came in " Oh!!! so Andrew you left your wife and kids at home and you came here settling with a cheap slut right ? " she asked angrily , I was shocked , heartbroken and angry at the same time , I couldn't find any words to say and suddenly Andrew's wife lauched at me she harassed me badly that I couldn't even walk home I had to order a taxi . That was the greatest humiliation I had faced since I started dating. Some months passed and I had completely forgotten about Andrew . Then this faithful morning I woke , too tired to cook so I decided to get myself a meal I went to a restaurant I bought my meal and was about to pay and that was when Triste came into picture. He offered to pay for my meal but I insisted , we both insisted until Triste won so I let him pay for my meal we ate together , we chatted also and I could tell that he was kind of man I needed . Triste was tall , dark skin and very handsome , I loved everything about him he was a good cook and was also good in bed , that made me love him more . One year had past and I and Triste are still madly in love , on my birthday Triste proposed to me I was so excited I agreed immediately l love him so why not . We were having our sweet moment one evening when someone came knocking this time he was a male I was upstairs buh I heard their voices so I thought maybe he was Triste friend I rushed down to greet him Triste introduced him to me as his cousin that was the first I was meeting Triste relative , he was about going but I insisted he stayed but he refused saying he had a meeting to attend to so he left . I and Triste went back upstairs we cuddled until we fell asleep . Two weeks had past , I decided to visit my fiance I went to his place and I saw the guy Triste claim to be his cousin half naked same as Triste, I was so heartbroken I dropped his key , his ring and left . I went home so heartbroken I couldn't believe I was dating a gay. I tried healing but it didn't work because I saw Triste everywhere I went , it made moving on very difficult for me , so I quited my job book a flight and decided to live with my mom who was in another city . I moved in to my mom's place and found out that she was dating someone old enough to be her son I was disappointed in her because she sworn never to love anyone talk more of dating someone whom is way younger than her but she insisted saying Sam loves her and he won't leave her but I didn't bought that because of my past relationships with men . Sam on the other hand was doing everything within his power to make sure I liked him and approved of his relationship with my mom. I told my mom that since she claims that Sam loves her why don't she puts him to a test , which she agreed on , my mom told him that she was HIV positive but instead of Sam to leave he stayed with my mom that was when I realized that not all men the same . Sam called my mom to ask her how she was faring after they talk my mom didn't end the call (she thought she did ) so I ask her when was she going to tell Sam that she isn't HIV positive she said she will but she was scared unknowingly to her that Sam heard everything. The next day Sam came visiting and broke up with my mom because he felt my mom didn't trust him . For weeks Sam and my mom were a total mess I had to do something so i meant up with Sam I was happy he agreed to meet with me I explained everything to him about my past relationships and how they ended and how I persuaded my mom to test him . Sam visited my mom the next day they got married and lived happily ever after. I on the other hand also dated a nice guy .
