“What was it?” I exhaled sharply the way Leah had described the feeling of being watched was so vivid it was like I could almost sense it myself. Or maybe it felt so real because it was so eerily similar to what I felt anytime the monster was close by. “Did you ever find out?”
Obviously, they had escaped whatever it was that was watching them, but I was still on the edge of my seat for the rest of the story. Leah painted it all so clearly that it was almost like I could smell the giant pine forests of Fae.
