CHAPTER THREE Morning broke bright and cheerful for everyone other than Anna. She awoke with a headache and feeling decidedly down. At first, she hadn’t even been sure where she was. Waking up in a strange place had her feeling odd. She remembered that she hadn’t dared go home after what she had seen. That thought had her sitting up fast. Maybe a little too fast. Her head was spinning a bit. She remembered more. That she had had to leave her home, sell the car she had loved and buy an old used one to drive.
