Seraphine turned around because her wolf voice seemed to be brimming with joy. And she was taken aback when she noticed the man staring at her while leaning against a tree.
"A young girl alone in a dark place like this—do you realize how dangerous it is?" As he looks up at Seraphine, the man says. Elijah is the name of the man.
"Well, depending on the girl... Maybe she can defend herself, so she dares to go to the dark place alone," Seraphine replied as she sat on the grass and carefully examined the man in front of her.
"You appear brave; then I'll leave you to resume your delayed sleep," Elijah said.
"Would you mind telling me your name?" Seraphine stood up quickly and grabbed his hand to prevent him from leaving.
When Elijah felt her hand on his arm, he seemed electrified.
So he quickly drew his arm away from her grip. "Why?" With a scowl on his face, he inquired.
Seraphine was stunned when she saw the man's anger and did not say anything else. Seraphine, on the other hand, smiled and shook her head.
Elijah appeared to regret seeing the woman's face change. His hand nearly bled from the numbness of not touching the woman who had not left his mind since yesterday. To sleep, he had to immerse himself in alcohol.
"Although you can defend yourself, you should return home," Elijah said as he walked away.
Seraphine smiled sadly as she looked at the man the Goddess had chosen for her mate. But for some reason, the guy seemed upset with her.
....
Elijah sighed once more. "How did I even think of going there with so many places to go?!' he mumbled, blaming himself.
Elijah didn't see it coming, and he never expected to meet the mate he never expected to meet.
Now that he and William have reached an agreement, he must cut ties with the woman his wolf is yelling at and the Goddess has given him as a mate.
"Elijah, Alpha!" "You woke up early; where did you go?" Samantha inquired.
"I just ran around the village." You? "It appears that you, too, arose early," Elijah observed as he entered the castle.
"I still need to work out." "The truth is, I'm running late, but that's okay because I'm waiting for you," Samantha explained.
"Why?" he inquired.
"When I get back, let's go on a tour; our city has a lot of beautiful places," Samantha said with a smile.
"Well, it's up to your father; if our conversation ends early, we can leave," Elijah responded.
"Of course you have time; you can skip our meeting for my daughter Samantha," William asserted in the distance, overhearing their conversation.
"Then I'll leave, and we'll meet later," Samantha said cheerfully as she ran out of the castle.
William cheerfully followed his daughter's gaze as she ran happily.
"My daughter seems to like you a lot..." says William.
Elijah smiled and didn't say anything else. The two then shared breakfast while planning their strategy in case the marriage between the two packs goes ahead.
"May I join your discussion?" As Luna Elizabeth approached the table, she spoke.
"How are you feeling, Elizabeth?" As he sipped his coffee, William inquired.
"I'm fine, my dear. "I'm sorry, Elijah, if I didn't greet you when you arrived," Elizabeth apologized.
"Health will always come first," Elijah stated politely.
"I appreciate your understanding," Elizabeth said.
"Eliza, Elijah, and Samantha will tour the city later." "Tell Carol to make a snack for their departure," William said.
"Don't be concerned. I'll look after Elijah and Samantha's snacks. "I've already inquired as to Elijah's favorite food," Elizabeth responded.
.....
Meanwhile, Samantha was looking forward to going to her teacher's house; she had just seen Seraphine enter from a distance.
"Wait for me, Seraphine!"
Samantha yelled as she dashed away.
Seraphine sat back and watched her friend run towards her.
"Why are you frowning so early, Seraphine?" "The surroundings are lovely, and the weather is nice today, so we should be content," Samantha exclaims.
"Perhaps it's a good morning for you... because your alpha is with you." What about me? I did see my friend, but he didn't seem to notice me! "I believe he hosted me!" Seraphine is sulking as she signs.
"Oh my goodness! When did you meet your mate, Seraphine? "How come you didn't tell me?" Samantha said as she drew her to a seat on the bench.
"I saw him yesterday and earlier, but I had no idea what his name was!" I didn't ask because it seemed like he was mad at me... "I'm not going to ask him," Seraphine says.
"I thought the bond between mates was strong?" "What is causing this?" Samantha inquired, perplexed.
"I'm not sure either, but I like him, and when I touched him earlier, it felt like electricity was coursing through me!" "I'm sure he feels the same way!" Seraphine retorted angrily.
She recalls the sensation of being able to touch her mate's arm, and she is certain of their attraction to one another.
"Did you touch him?" "I'm envious, but I can't even touch Alpha Elijah because I'm embarrassed," Samantha lamented.
"Hmmph, at least he'll be your husband." Me? "I don't even know what his name is," Seraphine said, frowning.
"Hmm... I was going to introduce you to my alpha Elijah, but it looks like you're not in the mood to watch the sweet couple, so I won't take you," Samantha comforted Seraphine.
When Teacher Mayer appeared and began their training, their conversation came to a halt.
Samantha said her goodbyes to Teacher Mayer and Seraphine after a few hours. She requested that the training be completed sooner, and teacher Mayer agreed because he wanted to focus on Seraphine's training as well.

Samantha arrived at the castle and immediately began preparing for her date with the alpha Elijah. Her mother assisted her in selecting clothing.
"It's too revealing, Mom!" Samantha grumbled as she looked down at her tube dress.
"Honey, every man wants a sexy and beautiful date; trust me on this one, huh?" Luna Elizabeth said with a smile.
Samantha has no choice but to obey her mother. Samantha was speechless when Elizabeth finished her make-up; half of her breast was visible, and her long legs were exposed.
"Remember, when you see an opportunity, seize it immediately," Elizabeth advised.
