"Why do we have to keep the truth from her?”
If Psyche discovers everything soon, she may cancel the mission completely. Lying to her will not get us anywhere. It will only make matters worse.
"Do you think she's prepared?" Cass asked.
It's better to be honest with her, whether she's ready or not. She'll be able to move on from it eventually. But keeping such a major secret from her would not help the issue. This will definitely set off a larger clash.
