Scion's POV
Orion had agreed to let me bring Psyche back to the mortal realm to inform Miriam, her older sister in the human world, about her plans. We are now at their residence. She was already inside, and I decided o wait for her outdoors, beneath the large acacia tree, for the fresh air. In the midst of fanning myself, Psyche came running in my direction.
"No one is in the house, Scion," she exclaimed.
I can see the concern on her face as she runs her fingers through her hair, frustrated. Today is Sunday, and her sister should be at home, owing to the fact that it is her day off.
"Perhaps she went out to get something."
