There I was standing vaping peacefully listening to some real music on my airpods, on a beautiful balcony. The view was amazing. I could see a beautiful garden full of flowers and a huge fountain in the middle. Rich people and their massive things.
Suddenly, I felt someone grabbing me from behind and pulling me against his body. I head bumped him, hitting him right on the nose. He let go and I turned around. To my dismay, I found the guy. The douchebag was holding his bloody nose. I got him good. His hands were dripping blood all over the nice marvelous floor. I took my airpods off and asked him what was wrong with him?
The guy had the audacity to get mad at me for breaking his nose and began to scream at me. I began to walk away. I was done with that. I was done with that stupid party. I just wanted to go home. Then the guy went after me and grabbed me by my hand. He started telling me how I own him for what I did to him, and I was going to pay. I asked him to let me go a few times, but he didn’t. He pulled me closer and began sliding his hand up my dress. I tried to push him away and he ripped my dress. I grabbed the first thing I could find and hit him.
I cracked a ceramic vase on his head. I guess the adrenaline was to blame because I’m not that strong. His head cracked open, and he dropped to the floor. One of his friends walks in right after the guy drops on the floor.
Imagine... He finds me standing over his unconscious friend lying in a puddle of blood holding a broken vase. The guy's friend called the police. He was hysterical, saying that I had killed his friend.
Unlike in my poor neighborhood, in that rich neighborhood the police arrived in no time. The police grabbed me, and the paramedics checked on the guy. Everyone was making a big deal. Everyone started saying that I killed the guy, even Jeannette looked at me upset and left me there. The guy was already waking up when the paramedics arrived. He didn’t die. People are so dramatic.
The guy was taken to the hospital, and I was held by the police. One of the police officers kept me on the balcony while his partner cleared the house.
Once everyone left, the officer took me down to the living room. As I walked in the room, I saw the guy that called the police talking to the other officer. The officer put me in handcuffs and sat me on a chair. Then he walked towards the other officer. That was the first time I saw him… Leo
His dark hair and pearing dark eyes. He looked hot, and that uniform, mmmmm, made him look even hotter.
The officer asked Leo to watch me while he interviewed the witness. Leo stood next to me. He didn’t make eye contact. He just stood quietly looking at the other officer.
The guy that calls the police turns to me and screams, “That b***h tried to kill my friend.” I got fired up. I stood up and was about to go and confront that i***t, when Leo wrapped an arm around me and said, “ Calm down miss.” He gently held me back, not like his colleague. I was so angry that my eyes tore up. I looked at Leo and told him that the guy was lying. I told him what really happened. Leo listened to me without judgment. I felt better after talking to him. The other officer called Leo over and whispered something to him. Then Leo shook his head. The other officer became angry. Leo calmly talked to him and pointed at me. I couldn’t hear what they were saying but then they walked towards me. The officer looked at my dress and Leo asked him, “Isn’t that enough evidence?” The other officer nodded and smiled. He places an arm on Leo’s hand and tells him, “You don’t know who we are dealing with. This is the girl who cried r**e. Her stepdad almost lost his job at the school because of her lies.” Leo looked at me and pushed the other officers' hand off his shoulder. The officer asked him to relax and grabbed me. They took me directly to jail. I was so scared but didn’t want that mean cup to notice. Leo noticed my hand shaking, so he got close to me and whispered, “I’ll see what I can do to help you.”
This guy didn’t know me and even though everyone pointed their finger at me, he believed me?! I was overwhelmed. For the first time in my life someone was on my side.
