Aaron dragged me angrily into the house and locked me inside my room with these words. "I'll be back for you."
I was so scared knowing my life was officially over. I sobbed trying to open the door. I looked through the window trying to know if I could go down but it was too high.
I was thinking about how to escape when I overheard some guards talking. My heart sank as I listened to them express satisfaction at the successful elimination of Ian. My heart pounded in my chest as I struggled to comprehend the gravity of what I had just heard.
I struggled to comprehend the words at the terrible realization that Ian had been deliberately targeted and killed. Ian was no longer living. And it was obvious who was behind this.
