Finally, Ophelia got a flash of Takoda in her mind. Clinging to the presence, she closed her eyes and called out to him. The only response she got was an overwhelming feeling of despondence and resignation. This sent a shiver down her spine and she concentrated even harder to make contact. All of a sudden, her mind's eye honed in on something, and her brain was flooded with images of gaudy pink tile. Focusing on these images, she started to see more of the room around her. Or, around Takoda. She, or he, looked around and took in the rusty chains that were wrapped around his arms, torso, and legs, effectively confining him to the toilet.
