Takoda was left to sit in the heavy silence that followed the heated argument. Finally alone, he began to cry, not caring whether or not there was anyone else around. Normally he would have flown straight into his home, making sure he was safe before allowing himself to give in to the emotion. But he didn't care anymore. He had been out hunting, technically, but he couldn't work up the motivation to catch anything. Every other living creature had more reason to keep their blood than he had to steal it. He was a parasite of the worst kind and he no longer saw any reason for him to stain the earth with his presence. As a result of this newfound nihilism, he couldn't be bothered to protect himself.
