Significant Realism “I’ll come see you later on,” Abe’s parting words were floating around subconsciously, as I drove back to Santa Monica. He was planning to stop by and spend a bit more time before he had to fly out later tonight. I took my time on the way back, not wanting to be alone in the emptiness of my home without Alezmé or anyone else there as well and I was right, my home didn’t feel complete without the buzz of people. So I put the kettle on to make a brew of percolated coffee and turned the stereo on to play, not checking to see what CD was in there, as long as it was noise.
