Alee started to move faster as soon as she was out of Kira and Becca’s sight, and disappeared through the crowds of designers and spectators without anyone noticing she was there. She slipped through the exit and then felt a hand on her arm, pulling her aside up by the wall.
“There’s one here,” Alee quickly conveyed to Daniel, sensing an urgency.
“Really? I thought I sensed it when we walked in. But why didn’t we pick up on it at anytime yesterday or last night?” Daniel replied in a normal tone, but Alee could see the love for this family he personally was involved in protecting, strongly resonate through his expression.
