Submersion I loved the thought of breathing in the familiar Los Angeles air as we flew back in, even though I could only imagine it for now until we landed. The flight wasn’t going to be too long, and Becca was still bouncing off the walls in excitement. It was so nice to spend some time here with Alezmé for a few hours. I was really starting to miss her, especially also thinking forward to next week with her continuing to stay with her Nan and Poppa while I went to Tahiti. Angelo was now also accompanying us on this flight as extra security for the ride back to Los Angeles. I was just beginning to relax as we neared LAX, when all of a sudden a loud roar of thunder rumbled and the plane began to shake. I held onto Alezmé’s hand beside me, and gripped the armrest as well.
