Imminent I sighed while looking out my living room window, watching the waves on the beach crash on the shore and then draw back out again. I closed my eyes momentarily, feeling the pull of not having much sleep last night. I knew I wouldn’t have wanted to go to sleep last night, just in case he wasn’t there in my dreams. As I listened to the ocean I began clearly remembering last night’s dream. I had seen Abe there as he was standing by the lake, but it wasn’t how Abe usually was in my dream.
