Anticipating Sunset
I took a deep breath in and soaked in the new surrounds as we all made ourselves at home and stretched out on our beach towels. Everyone was here together. BJ and his crew and my girlfriends and I, all pumped up and ready to take on the Crew Up International Surfing Competition starting tomorrow, right here on this beach in Teahupo’o, a village in Tahiti that is well known as one of the best places for surfing competitions in the world.
I was so stoked that they didn’t have to compete today, as we had all just flown into beautiful Tahiti, and needed to take a breather to refresh.
