Throughout the journey, Alexander hardly said a word, and I didn't dare speak up.
It wasn't until the car stopped in front of the apartment building that Alexander turned to me and offered a faint smile.
"Christina, did you hear what I told you?"
My face turned pale, and I lowered my head.
"As long as you obey, don't think about things you shouldn't, I will pamper you like I used to, understand? And remember, everything I do has a purpose. I don't want anyone to disrupt the plan. Don't cause me trouble in the future, got it?"
