Rainie had been sleeping for quite some time, and I sat with my laptop, working on tasks but constantly distracted by the urge to check on her peaceful slumber.
An entire afternoon passed, and Melody arrived. I instructed her to keep a close watch and told her to buy sweet soup for Rainie, among other trivial details, before finally leaving.
I had to go back to Dylan's place for a dinner gathering with the elders. I hurriedly left the hospital building, planning to retrieve my car.
