As I approached Alexander's office, I ran into Melody coming out. It was during working hours, and the hallway was relatively quiet with not many people around.
Remembering how Melody had taken care of me in the hospital, I felt grateful and managed to force a smile at her.
Melody returned the smile, and seeing no one around, she walked over to me, speaking in a hushed tone, "Miss Spark... Mr. Heffernan is too proud. Try to control your temper; maybe you won't face too much trouble. If you let yourself be confrontational, you'll only suffer. Alright, I'll leave you to it. Good luck."
