I raised my head and told the driver, "Drive faster." Afterward, I lowered the partition between the front and rear seats and gently opened Rainie's coat, which I had wrapped around her earlier. It had been difficult to assess her injuries before, but now that I looked, my heart sank into an abyss, sinking deeper with each glance.
Her strapless gown had been torn down to her waist, and her soft, pale skin was marred by numerous marks, swollen and raised, with many areas breaking the skin.
It was evident that the man who had attacked her had been extremely brutal.
I wanted to pull her dress back up to cover her chest, but I found that the delicate fabric had already been damaged from the forceful assault, with several of the precious crystal beads missing.
