Chapter 10 The Surprise

Jessica's P.O.V 

Halloween aka Jessica's birthday.

I woke up this morning in cold sweat feeling a little dizzy due to the fact that I had a nightmare, now if your feeling bad for me don't. To be honest I kind of deserve it. I have nightmares about my mother and her death since it was sort of my fault. Now I'm not just one of those people who just blames themself for everything, it was actually my fault. I know how was I responsible for a plane crash, well it was my fault I should never have distracted the pilot.

I decided to get up, so I got out of bed looking at the time. Oh my no I'm late for school, it's 9:30 I quickly run down stairs to put my shoes on and leave. Once I get downstairs I find my dad making waffles.

"Dad what's going on, why didn't you wake me up, and how did my alarm get turned off." I ask, kind of rushed.

"Simple I turned your alarm off, and let you sleep in because you are not going to school. Now sit down and have some breakfast." He says with a bright chipper smile.

So I sat down and ate my waffles. Once I was finished the doorbell rang. 

"I'll get it." I tell my dad as I run to the door forgetting that I'm still in my pajamas. I opened the door to find myself shocked at who it was.

"Alexander, wha...uhm What are you doing here?" I ask him nervously stuttering a little bit.

"Just here to tell you to meet me at the beach tonight at seven o'clock okay." He says then kisses me on the cheek. 

"Okay." I say not even noticing the blush that had crept onto my face.

"Oh and umm wear a costume." He tells me then pulls me into a full on kiss, then let's me go feeling satisfied with the wicked kiss he gave me.

"Okay beach tonight seven o'clock wear a costume. Okay got it." I say then I kiss his lips gently then close the door.

I walk back into the kitchen to see my dad making my plate of waffles. After I was done eating I decided I was gonna go shopping to get a costume.

I go upstairs to my closet and look for some clothes. I finally settled on a pair of space like colored converse, a purple leather jacket, a dark blue cropped shirt, and purple pants.

After I was dressed I went downstairs grabbed my keys and left for the mall.

Alexander P.O.V

I really hope Jess will like the party me and her father put together for her. It took a lot of effort, but she's worth every last bit of it.

Jessica's P.O.V

I had just pulled up at the beach I got out of my car I started walking towards the water when.

"Surprise" Alexander my dad my sister, and a few other people who I didn't know but I'm assuming they're Alexander's friends. I also noticed Kate, Alice,  Alan,  and Cody here as well. I also just now realized everyone was in a costume. Alexander was dressed as a Werewolf, my dad as a Scarecrow, my sister is a Witch and I really don't think she dressed up much I mean that's her everyday look, Kate was a Skeleton,  Alice was an Angel, Alan was dressed as Iron Man, and Cody was a Vampire. But my costume still tops them all I was dressed as an Ice Queen myself. Next thing I know Alexander is walking towards me.

"Are you okay beautiful." He asks in a soft gentle voice.

"I'm fine I'm just happy that's all." I say as he grabs my hand and laces his fingers through mine.

The rest of the night consisted of three things Alexander introducing me to his friends from his gang including his second and third in command Jonas and Dominic. Another was me dancing and talking with my friends. And the last thing was me thanking Alexander and my dad for the lovely party. By the time it was over my sister had to drive my car home because I had a sugar crash so Alexander had to drive me home. But I don't mind this night ended on a good note.
