"You look very different than the other heroes that had trained here before." "What? There are others who trained in here before?!" "Yes. If I'm not mistaken, we had raised almost nine heroes and all of them became kings on the Surface Realm." "Uhmm.. Can I ask you?" "Sure." "Do you know what was chasing me before I came here?" Her facial expression was bitter as she replied, "I'm sure that was the misfit of this realm, he was a half spirit and half demon.. based on his other source, he was considered as an enemy but the Queen insisted to allow him to dwell in this realm." Out of curiosity, I asked her if she could tell me all the informations that she knew about the demons, cause if those creatures are same as what we knew on my previous world's religions.. then I must be careful. "Fine I'll tell you.. I'll tell you all the things that you have to know about the world and also the demons," she said, "Before the existence of all creatures bud in the ethereal landscapes of this world, there was an entity who created countless lights on the sky and worlds from above. The being was fond of its creation and soon he felt loneliness, he then created his very first masterpiece and that was the source of all origins, Gaia. Then he created the mortals and let them to reproduce, but the mortals are passing away one by one because unlike the spirits, their body requires physical fuel to sustain their source.. that's why he decided to create the animals for them to survive and to sustain the needs of their fragile bodies. At first the mortals respected him and gave him praises of adoration and called him as 'God', but due to their curiosity, intellectual ability and the so-called reasoning, they began to doubt his power and absolute authority. Amidst the confusion of beliefs, the god didn't gave up on his creations, he still gave blessings to the faithful and continued to sustain the life on this world. Soon Gaia tried to reach to the god but it didn't respond, unfathomable energy has been shattered in the eternal unknown that enriches the life of all living things, in the absence of god, the mortals started to group themselves and started to believe that everything has different sources and that in every sources there's a corresponding entity who caused it.. that caused the birth of us nine, the first spirits. Traditions passed down through generations and each new believers contributed to give birth to another Spirits. We are grateful to the mortals that's why we kept interacting with them and as the civilization rises they exploit their connections with us, they started war towards each groups using the spirit's power to annihilate their own kind.. conquering the lands and dividing everything on their factions. Truly, the mortals are unpredictable creatures that's why Gaia decided to gather the energy and isolate us from the mortals so that they cannot easily establish connections with us. She set up laws in this realm to protect us..." "Wait! Wait! You mean the queen was that much powerful?" "Exactly!" she exclaimed, "But let me give you an advice, you have to work hard this day and even harder on the following days." "Yes!" I replied confidently, "But please to tell me about the demons now." "Sigh* I only have the slightest idea about their existence, they are otherworldly beings that appeared not a long time ago. Back then, a rift has appeared on the southernmost part of the boundary and the other one was on the northern region of the Surface Realm. The only thing that I was certain was they can kill a spirit." I stopped for a while, now I understand that my presence and that guy's imposed a great threat to them. The fact that I had a demonic source makes it clearer that I have to leave this place as soon as possible. I didn't ask questions anymore, I told her that we must start the training. "We will start by controlling the flow of earth," she said. "First gather the malach around and store it in your right hand, then visualize the form you desired to be the outcome, and lastly release the malach into the ground." As she release the power into the ground, it formed a statue of a young man. "Can I ask you? Who is that?" "Ah! He was Venice, the first hero that I've trained." I was shocked to see Venice's face on the statue, he looks very innocent than what I think of him. Maybe we shouldn't judge a book by its cover.. And then I've realized who that girl really is, she was the spirit mentioned on Venice's journal. But her name doesn't matter right now, I need to grasp everything that I can so that I may be able to adapt on foreign lands soon. I started to visualize the output of this creation magic and it must be huge, I remembered that wayback then I always wanted to have a golem so now is the right time to create one. Just as said on Venice's journal I must use my mildei instead of malach, as I release the power from my origin, the earth started trembling and the lump of soil started to form the image that I desire. "What's that!??" she was shocked after seeing the golem. Maybe it was her first time to saw one, or maybe my creation was a failure. I was so excited to see my creation to mobilize itself but a few moments had passed and still the golem was stagnant on its point of creation. She patted my head and smiled, "You did your best, let's call it a day!" Her smile seems like a dual blade for me, it would mean that she's disappointed at my performance but still wanted to cheer me up, or maybe she just expected that the outcome of my magic was just like that from the beginning. She didn't gave her critiques about it. She turned her back and left me in the plain, I was left alone but I felt that someone was watching me from afar. I think it's the best timing to improve my skills in creating gates, I focused my mind and started to visualize my home, as I breathe, I released the mildei to open a warp. "Yes!! I did it!" I uttered. I hurriedly entered the gate that I created and went towards Mama and Papa, "I'm home!" This day was sure exhausting but the sight of their smiling faces gives me enough motivation to look forward.
