PROLOGUE
Before the beginning of time, when the heavens were still divided and the darkness had not yet learned to fear the light, the Celestial Realm created beings powerful enough to walk between worlds.
They were called Earth Angels.
Unlike ordinary angels, Earth Angels were sent to Earth in human form, stripped of their memories and celestial powers. Their purpose was to protect the balance between the mortal world and the supernatural realms—and to awaken only when the darkness returned.
Aurelia has no idea she is one of them.
She has lived her entire life believing she is human. But strange things have always followed her. Shadows move when she is afraid. Wounds close beneath her touch. She dreams of places she has never seen and hears whispers in languages she has never learned. And whenever danger comes near, an ancient symbol appears on her skin before disappearing without a trace.
She believes she is cursed.
She is not.
She is awakening.
When a violent supernatural attack nearly kills her, something inside Aurelia finally breaks open. The sky changes. The earth trembles. A power older than humanity erupts from her body—and for the first time, she sees the truth hidden behind the world she knows.
There are angels, demons, immortals, witches, ancient kingdoms, and creatures that were never meant to exist.
And somehow, they all know her name.
As Aurelia’s powers grow, so does the darkness hunting her. An ancient force that once tried to conquer both Heaven and Earth has discovered that the Earth Angel has returned—and intends to destroy her before her transformation is complete.
But Aurelia soon discovers that her greatest enemy may not be the darkness.
It may be the truth about why she was sent to Earth in the first place.
She was not sent merely to heal humanity.
She was sent to fulfill a prophecy.
A prophecy that says when the Earth Angel awakens, the gates between Heaven, Earth, and the Underworld will open—and she alone will decide which realm survives.
Now Aurelia must master powers capable of bending nature, commanding celestial energy, entering dreams, manipulating shadows, and summoning ancient forces she barely understands.
But every power comes with a price.
And as the memories of her celestial existence slowly return, Aurelia begins to question everything she believed about herself, her purpose, and the people she loves.
Because becoming an angel is not her greatest transformation.
Becoming the most powerful being on Earth is.
And when her wings finally emerge, Heaven will bow.
Hell will rise.
And humanity will discover that its greatest savior may also become its greatest threat.
