I can see the guy from my pack on his phone, I quickly walk over to listen. “No sir I haven’t seen her they are going home now just her and her friend. No sir alone yes Alpha I’ll wait until they leave then look. Yes, Alpha I’ll ring if I see her.”

I walked over to Henry telling him. “They are going to break into the shop. Can Missy mask my scent in the back room.” Once we were back in the shop, Missy told me to think of myself whole like when I go into my wolf. “I have to leave they will hurt you if they find out you are helping me.”

“Gina don’t be silly we can take care of that pup of an Alpha if he comes sniffing round.” Maya yelps, “I’ve got it they want to breed stronger pups to build up their pack. Make them unbeatable.”

“It still doesn’t make sense they have to know the Moon Goddess will rain down starvation and destruction on that pack. It will ruin the Alpha plus his son.”

“Do I care hell no they were cruel to me most of my life. I will not go back I would rather die first than be their slave again.”

“Calm down Gina, we will not let them catch you, I have a few tricks up my sleeves. “Come now let’s go home, Gina is cloaked as she walks behind them to their home which is on the outskirts of the town.

Next morning as Gina had expected, the pack had broken into Missy’s shop and ransacked it. Missy complained to the werewolf Council, that Alpha Grey and Leon had one of his minions break into her shop destroying it.

She complained that it has put her out of business with loss of earnings. Laying it on thick. Missy was told by the council that they would investigate it; They came and did investigate the break in, looking around Missy’s little shop taking notes of smells and breakage.

We don’t know what happened but two days after the council member left Alpha Grey turned up at the shop apologizing for causing so much trouble for Missy and handed over enough cash for Missy to fix up her shop plus some.

She sent a letter to the council thanking them for their speedy action and said the matter had been resolved.

They in return replied they don’t take kindly to out of town packs coming into their territories messing with the locals. Missy wore a smug look on her face for two days.

In the meantime, I stayed out of the way of them sniffing around. Missy had to keep putting the block on my scent each morning before she went to work. Henry stayed to keep me company; our days rolled into weeks. While Alpha Grey was still hanging around. For each pack member that watched us Missy put a spell on them don’t ask me what, but they all became sick I think Alpha Grey finally got the message to leave Missy alone.

Finally, some time to breathe Missy showed me how to cover my scent by some special herds she had made up for me. I was going to try to make my way to my father's pack, The Silver Moon.

Missy gave me a photo of my parents from when they were both very young. At the time the photograph was taken Gina’s mother looked like she was about two months pregnant with her.

Missy said to show the Alpha he would know my dad. I was to tell Alpha Stephen, my father’s name. There were still three or four days travelling so Missy said she would cloak me.

I had to sneak onto a bus and wait until it stopped. The spell would last until I arrived at my destination. Thanking them both for their help Missy cloaked me one final time before I ran down to the bus station and jumping on board the bus I needed. I took the very last back seat, keeping out of everyone’s way. I knew we were getting close to the end of the ride because I could feel the cloak flickering in and out.

I hoped no one was paying me any attention. Just in case I quickly moved to another seat and curled up into a ball and pretended to sleep. When the bus came to a stop. I picked up my bag and walked out with the rest of the other passengers.

I ran to the forest knowing that I was crossing onto another pack's land. I sat down and waited for the patrol to pick up my scent. I took the food out that Missy had put in my backpack for me with a bottle of water and ate and drank what I needed. Keeping some back in case I needed it.

“Hello, I’ve been waiting for you.” Gina said to the first wolf that arrived. Turning his head, he saw Gina sitting quietly eating on the ground to the side of the path. “I’d like to speak with your Alpha, please. The first wolf stood in front of me only wearing a pair of shorts trying to intimidate me, he seemed to be the leader of the group.
