Chapter One.
I was born the only child from two Alpha’s. My parents when they were alive told me that they both came from old Alpha stock, strong Alpha stock. My father left his pack to mate with my mother and join her pack.
After my parents died the Alpha removed me from my home and installed me into the packhouse to work as the packs slave. I had to hide my strength away from the pack while being made to clean, cook and do washing for everybody that lived in the pack house.
I was treated worse than dirt, when they walked past me, I would receive a kick or punch to the stomach, letting me know I was nothing to them, they thought I hadn’t shifted, that I couldn’t heal myself. They don’t need to know I had my wolf. Maya is magnificent, she is my secret, and I keep her close to my heart.
Of course, I let them believe what they wanted to believe. Each morning Gina wakes at four am and heads down to the kitchen to prepare breakfast for the pack.
They all liked a full breakfast of pancakes, bacon, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy, porridge.
All with fresh fruit I make a mixture of onions mushrooms with tomatoes in a sauce, toast, coffee with fresh orange juice.
Putting it all out on the buffet table so they could help themselves, while they ate, I cleaned up the kitchen, one good thing they did for me was to buy a dishwasher it made my life much easier not by much. But easier.
With breakfast out of the way I cleaned up the dining room, putting the dishes into the dishwasher running up to the first three rooms I started to clean bringing down the dirty washing as I go. Trying to stay away from anyone still left in the pack house or they will lash out at me.
I can clean three rooms before I must go and empty the dishwasher and restock it with dirty dishes. Running up the stairs I start cleaning the next three rooms. This keeps me fit. My father always told me to use my work as training to keep fit.
The Alpha wouldn’t let me train, so this is how I kept fit running up and down the stairs. My third room cleaned, washing in the laundry room. Thank goodness there are only twelve rooms being used at this moment.
I'm running up and down the stairs from the kitchen to the rooms. On one rush up the stairs, I bumped into the Alpha. Mostly he leaves me alone, but not today. He seems to be in a foul mood and looking for someone to hit. I must have annoyed him by running into him.
Grabbing my arm, he drags me into his office throwing me to the ground. Then standing over me with his hands on his hips as he screams at me. “What do you think you are doing. Running all over the pack house making an awful racket. I can’t get any work done with you constantly running everywhere.”
“I'm sorry Alpha it’s because I have too much work to do with the breakfast then washing plus cleaning it’s a lot for one person.” “You, ungrateful wretch we feed you, house you then you complain you have to much work to do,” he roared.
Without warning he pulls back his foot and kicks me then hits me in my face with an open hand *that’s going to leave a bruise.* “Please Alpha I’m sorry I’ll do better.” “Make sure you do; he replies and be quiet about it, so I can work.” Another kick. “Now get out of my sight.”
I limp out of his office grabbing the laundry as I go, I am limping down to the laundry room to put the first load on. I better not get them mixed again or I’ll be in big trouble.
My leg hurts where the Alpha kicked me. If I heal myself, the pack will know I have my wolf, I clean the last three rooms collecting the dirty washing and go limping down to the laundry room once again putting that load on.
Well, this is my day, fun…fun…fun they are the same seven days a week I’m not allowed to go to school because they needed a house slave. The Alpha’s son was the first to come home walking in like he was King expecting me to bow down to him. As he walked past me, he flung out his hand slapping my face and saying. “Get me a drink of juice now he snarled.” I lower my head in submission. “Yes, Alpha Leon.”
Taking off to do his bidding taking his drink to his room I knocked then waited to hear him say “Come in.” “Your drink Alpha Leon.”
He looked at me and asked. “What’s your name?” “Gina Alpha Leon.” “Gina hmmm a slat name come here.” I lower my head not because I’m scared but because I don’t want a beating again.
As I walk slowly to him standing in front of him, he asks looking at me with a funny expression on his face. “Have you shifted yet?” “No Alpha Leon.” “How old are you?” Twelve Sir.” “When is your birthday.”
“In two weeks’, time sir I’ll be thirteen.” “You can leave.” “Thank you, Alpha Leon.” I hurry out, God, he gives me the creeps. Okay back to my chores before they all come home from school.
Laundry’s half done I head to the kitchen to start a roast for dinner, peeling the vegetables getting everything ready to put on. Making blueberry pies for dessert. I hate my life.
I don’t have time to breathe. They are just plain cruel, the whole pack. They don’t need a reason to hit or kick me.
I try to have my bath when they are all away at school or late at night. I’m not allowed to use the shower, so I use the lake. The weekends are the worst. I must sneak out to the lake when no one is about. Most of the time I do it when they sleep it works for me and Maya as I let her out for her run.
When I had my tenth birthday, I was in the woods with my wolf Maya, and we decided to go for a run. I was so frightened we would get found out.
From that moment on I was very careful when I let her out late at night so she could run to stretch her legs. It keeps me toned and Maya a strong wolf. My wolf’s colour is white the tips of her paws are black; on her head she wears a half star in black.
Why I’m a slave I have no idea mum and dad were both strong Alphas, both fought alongside the Alpha of the Pack. It doesn’t make sense why he made me a slave.
The only joy is when we run in the forest no one can catch us we are too fast, we are Alpha, my aura is strong as the patrol guards can feel us, but it confuses them. They think another Alpha has come to challenge their Alpha and take over the pack. They run through the forest looking for the rogue Alpha and find nothing, only a smell is all wrong. We laughed as we ran away to hide. All to soon enough, I must return to my duties.
The roast can be smelt for miles, the aroma is mouthwatering. I hate this time of the day when the pack is coming home from school. They take great delight in hitting me and pushing me into the hot oven. When I burn my hands.
Then they are happy and would walk away laughing. Some would even hit me as they went by. But most just kicked me while I am on the floor.
You ask why I don’t stand up for myself to fight back. Well, I could but the pack would be afraid of me, and they would gang together and kill me only because they would be afraid of me.
I have been forbidden by my Alpha to use my strength on my pack mates.
Although he thinks I haven't a wolf yet. I can’t hurt a pack member, even if I wanted to. They all know this and have made it a cruel game to see if I would break.
Checking the laundry making sure it’s getting dry, I go to the kitchen and put the vegetables in to roast, some vegetables on to boil and the pies are ready to go into the oven as well.
Back in the laundry to finish folding the laundry and then returning it back to its rightful owner. Making sure it’s all goes to the right rooms, or I will be in big trouble again. When I do Alpha Leon’s clothes, he just sits and watches me put them away. Hanging his shirts up in order just how he likes them.
The last time I hung his shirts out of order, he beat me within an inch of my life, so I won’t make that mistake again; it took me a week to get over the beating he gave me. Just because I hung his shirts out of order, He gives me the creeps the way he watches me.
