As I got home, all I wanted was to change and go for a run to try and forget everything that happened. As I walked up the stairs, I could hear voices coming from my dad’s office, so I quietly walked over there.
I could hear my mom and dad talking,
“You think it’s him?” My mom asked carefully.
“I don’t know, they left so long ago…” my dad stated.
“It must be him… Remember what he told us all these years ago?” She sounded scared.
“I know, I know!” My dad was getting frustrated, I could tell by the tone of his voice.
