"Ahhh!!" My scream echo through the walls of the bathroom as I'm lying on the wet floor again. Pain shoots through my veins again from my ankle.
I burst out crying because it's a hopeless situation. I wanted to take a shower and I wanted to do it on my own. After leaping to the bathroom on one foot, it became impossible to step out with how slippery the floor is.
But, it hurts... so freaking much.
"Jessica? Are you okay?" Devin bangs on the door aggressively.
I didn't respond.. I couldn't because I am fighting really hard to endure the pain.
"Jessica" He calls. ".. I am coming in"
My head snaps towards the door and I see the door handle turning.
"No, don't!" I manage to say. "I.. I don't have any clothes on. I'll manage on my own"
