"Wow you look beautiful".Ellis said mockingly as we entered the room.
"thanks for the compliment".I said smiling.
"Look light we don't know if you can help, mother woke up with a strange sickness".Brandon said worriedly they looked exhausted.
"She looks like a corpse with her face covered".I said
"finally someone agrees with me".Ellis said.
"Ellis be sensible for once".Draco said angrily.
"Ellis let it be, who is that".I said as I pointed at the herbs man.
"I am a man of herbs".He said and I laughed.
"I am really sorry but he looks like a clown".I said.
"Did I come here to get insulted, martha I won't tolerate this".he said.I couldn't believe that they let this mad man inside the house.
"apologize to him".lady Martha said.
"I am sorry but is he your lover".I said smiling.
"How dare you accuse me of such a shameful act". lady Martha yelled.
"stop shouting I was only joking".I said smiling.
"remove that thing from mother's face so she can see it".Brandon said and the herb man did it, I was so happy to see her suffering, I couldn't hide my joy they took too long to call me, her face was in a very bad shape and the i***t herb man had covered her face making it more worse.
"she looks like a pig".I said mockingly.
"how dare you say such a thing, have you no manners". Brandon yelled.
"don't you dare shout at me or else I will leave and she is going to die".I warned. they all looked at me in shock.
"Do you have any sympathy for her". Draco said.
"I have no sympathy for her, she deserves to suffer but how did she get poisoned".I said calmly. I checking to know if they knew I was the one.
"We don't know it's a mystery to us".Brandon said. I walked up to her bed, she looked so miserable.
"don't go too close to her".Ellis said and I walked back.
"I think I can help her but her face will be disfigured".I said calmly.
"What do you mean by that".Brandon said.
"The poison is a very dangerous one,It has destroyed her face but it wouldn't be so bad". I said mockingly.
"Okay start the treatment".Draco said.
"No".I said.
"What's wrong with you are you mad". Brandon yelled as he walked towards me angrily
"If you lay a finger on me, your mother will die and you will be tagged as her murderer".I said.then he stopped.
"How dare you try to blackmail him".lady Martha said angrily.
"Well she deserves to die,she killed many innocent people I have no interest in helping her".I said.
"thaniel don't just stand there talk to your wife".Brandon said.
"I have no interest in talking to him because we don't think the same way".I said and thaniel looked at me in shock.
"look I know lady Marie deserves to die but ......".thaniel said.
"but what,You are a fool and a coward, I regret having you as my husband but from now on you cease to be my husband".I said angrily everyone was shocked.
"it's not right to insult your husband in front of everyone".lord mattews said, I could tell he was a good man.
"A husband supports and protects his wife, but what does he do,I am not happy with this marriage,I can't be married to a coward infact you all are wicked and inhumane you watch your mother do wicked things, I wished all of you were poisoned".I said.
"Enough who do you think you are".thaniel said angrily.
"I am a person, someone daughter, my papa raised me with love and care, all of you are monsters".I said and he wanted to slap me but he stopped.
"don't push me".he said.
"you want to hit me,I will never give you my virginity".I said and everyone was shocked.
"You are sleeping with another man".he said in disbelief
"How dare you, cheat on him".Iady Martha said.
"This is so shocking".Brandon said.
"how could you do this,it's shameful".Draco said.
"Please stop it he doesn't love me,you know that,well I love another man".I said.
"Who is he".thaniel said quietly.
"Ellis".I said,I needed to plant seeds of doubt if I wanted to destroy them.
"She is lying,I wouldn't do that".Ellis said.
"Ellis you are disgusting your brother's wife". Draco said.
"you are a very shameless human being". Brandon said.
"Look I love him infact we would have had a passionate night yesterday but he slept off anyways I love the way he holds me".I said smiling.
"how can you say this in front of your husband so you have no shame".lady Martha said.
"I saw her yesterday entering Ellis room and then minutes later she came out smiling". Beth said.
"how can you do this".thaniel said weakly.
"look we have no time to waste we need to save her". the herbs man said.
"please my child help her".lord mattews said he reminded me of my papa.
"I can't".I said.
"what do you want".Ellis said.
"Thank you darling you understand me better".I said smiling.
"I am not your darling".Ellis said.
"I have three conditions".I said.
"let's hear it".Draco said.
"first,I get to be a gold ....."
"that's ridiculous how can you say that". Brandon said.
"let her speak".Draco said
"only for a week,secondly you give a land and money to start up my buisness,thirdly you will allow people to come inside to buy my things without causing trouble".I said.
"You ungrateful child you want to take lady Marie's place".lady Martha said.
"that's very greedy of you, you want to turn our mansion to a market".Brandon said.
"she is crazy but I love her".Beth said happily.
"we can't give in to your demands".Brandon said.
"Do I look like I am begging you".I said.
"I must applaud you my lady for you audacity".Ellis said.
"Thaniel speak to your wife, her demands are ridiculous".Brandon said and thaniel glared at him.
"look his words don't matter to me,decide quickly I have a lot to do".I said.
"Give into her demands your mother doesn't have much time". the herbs man said lady Marie started to cough blood.
"Okay fine we agree to it".Brandon said.
"you all must think I am very stupid, Dylan write my conditions down in a paper, then stamp it with lady Marie's seal".I said
"You smart child".lord mattews said and Dylan did it and have me the paper.
"Can you start now".Brandon said.
"Not so fast, everyone must take an oath that if this condition is not fulfilled they will suffer the same sickness".I said.
"This is madness".Brandon said. I wanted to make sure that they don't end up betraying me.
"Will you do it or not".I said.
"I can't take an oath".Draco said.
"you have no choice, place your hand on top of your mother's head as you take the oath".I said.
"No, when did you become this evil".Ellis sai.
"I have great teachers".I said with sarcasm.
"fine we will take the oath, I will go first". thaniel said.I felt bad for what I did to him he was good to me sometimes.
I watched as everyone took the oath except from Ellis.
"I can't take the oath ".he said.
"Ellis stop being a baby and come here". Draco said and they forced him to take the oath.
"I will go get the medicine".I said and left. I collected some herbs and came back.
They were all watching me as I placed the herbs on her face, I waited for ten minutes and then I sprinkled rose water on her face.
"I am done".I said as I stood up from the bed.
"Will this work". Brandon said.
"of course it will this medicine helps to neutralise any type of poison".I said.
"Wow I will come and take lessons from you". the herbs man said.
"Sure you can come anytime".I said.
"What happened".lady Marie said weakly .....
