Chapter sis: Destroying the hole.

I managed to walk to the room.l drank water hurriedly, I was really thirsty and hungry . I went to the bathroom and then I got into the tub and slept.

"Lady Marie it is good to finally hear from you". sir Bruce said he was the head doctor.

"stop with your act bruce,I don't want to exchange pleasantries is thaniel doing fine".she said.

"Yes he is doing fine, although he has gone home".Bruce said,he disliked lady Marie because she took the hospital from him.

"Why did you let him leave Bruce you are so incompetent".lady Marie said angrily.

"It's 4pm he has to go home and rest I have to go now bye".he said and ended the call.

I woke up to see myself on the bed, I was having a very bad headache, on top of that something was fixed to my hands.

"you are awake".thaniel said as he came out of the bathroom.

"how did I get here,the last thing I remembered was that I was in the tub".I said weakly.

"when I came home you were unconscious in the tub,so I had to clean you up and put on a drip,that's what I fixed to your hands".he said coldly.

"You touched my body without my permission".I said in shock, I was furious with the family including him.

"I am your husband and I am not interested in you".he said as he sat beside me.

"I am not interested in you too, but how could you let me suffer like that,I know you don't like me but you should have at least supported me".I said.he was so focused on the drip.

"you need to eat, do you feel pain your legs".he said and I checked.

"No but you are avoiding my questions".I said but he ignored me, instead he left the room and came back ten minutes later with food.

"What's this".I said as he gave me the plate.

"You need to eat,it's spaghetti and meat balls".he said.the food seemed strange.

"these look like earth worms, how can I eat this".I said.

"Don't irritate me open your mouth, let me feed you".he said and I ate.

"It's nice".I said.he fed till I was full.

"Now it's time for your medicine".he said as he gave the pills.

"so these are called medicines because I know only herbs".I said.he gave me water and I drank it.

"Rest and don't ever go against lady Marie".he said as he stood up.

"I am not going to be a coward,I will fight but first I have to destroy the hole".I said calmly.

"stop being foolish,you can't do it without getting killed,did Annette death not warn you".he said.

"It motivated, you haven't been to the hole, that's why it's scary,I don't want to waste time talking to you,it's useless talking to you,I need help when can you remove this drip".I said.

"It will take one hour".he said in suprise.

"please take it out,I have important business".I said as I sat up but I was still feeling weak.

"No I can't do that it's against my ethics".he said, I had no time to waste,I removed it.

"Ouch".I cried and he came to my aid.

"You are so stubborn".he said as he cleaned the wound.

"I told but you didn't listen,please be quick I need to do something".I said in pain.

" you may go but don't involve me".he said calmly.I figured out that I was only wearing his shirt.

"please can I get something to wear under".I said and he threw me his shorts.

"I can't wear this".I said,he glared at me.

"fine".I said, I wore it and left.

I needed to make explosives, so I went to the fields to look for leaves,all the workers glared at me and I wasn't concerned. I finally found the leaves. I collected many leaves as possible,I was about to enter the house when lady Martha stopped me.

"What's the matter".I said.

"look red hair stay in your place or else you will get killed like your friend".she said and I knew how to handle her.

"you must think I am jobless like you, I think you should be careful too you might end up dying before me".I said smiling she was so shocked.

"how dare you".she wanted to slap me but I held and twisted her hands.

"stop acting smart,where is the kitchen".I said.

"Let me go,it's there".she cried.

"don't ever speak rudely to me again".I said as I let go of her hand. I went to the kitchen it was big,it had different things I couldn't understand the use of the things.

"my lady".a girl said she looked really tired.

"Sorry I don't want to cause you trouble,I need to get something I can use to grind these my husband needs them".I said.

"I can help you, we just have to use the blender".she said with her head in a bow.

"please look at me you don't have to bow, we might be the same age don't bow or I will hit you ".I said

"Okay...."

"light call me that what's your name".I said as she put the leaves in the blender.

"Flair,these leaves look strange".she said.

"I thought so too".I said smiling I watched as she turned it on,it grinded it so quickly. and she packed it in a container.

"Thank you so much".I said smiling and left. I went back to the room thaniel wasn't there I quickly made made the bow and left.

I needed to get close to the cottage which had the hole so that I could sprinkle the powder around it, there was only one way. I was about to go outside the house when I saw flair with a hoe.

"where are you going".I asked.

"lady Marie asked me to weed the grass around the cottage with the hole".she said weakly.

"let me help you don't worry you won't get into trouble you still have to make dinner and they will soon be home".I said smiling..

"But light".she said I collected the hoe and went to the cottage,I was so surprised because the grass was much, but I had to I finished weeding and entered the house.

I was surprised to see them in the sitting room,they were having snacks.

"what's that smell".lady Marie said as she glared at me.

"I decided to make myself useful,I couldn't let that poor girl do all the work".I said faking a smile.

"she looks really sexy".Ellis said lustfully thaniel didn't say anything.

"why are you wearing such clothes".Draco said.

"they are my husband's clothes,I also feel very comfortable wearing them.excuse me".I said.

"I see it's seems you have guts now after sleeping with your husband".Brandon said.

"I have got my own guts, I may be from a small town but you sound dumber than me".I said and then he stood up.

"how dare you".he said angrily,the rest of them were trying to hide their laughter even thaniel was smiling.

"let her be you may leave".lady Marie said and I left.

I went to the room, I opened the door of the balcony. I had prepared a bow and arrow, I used the local method that my papa taught me using stone to create fire, then I lit the tip of my arrow. I looked outside to make no one was watching. I shot at the cottage thrice and then I went inside, I locked the balcony and got inside.

Then I heard a loud explosion, it was if there was an earthquake. I jumped happily, I ran downstairs and went outside everyone was outside.

"how did this happen stop the fire".lady Marie said angrily.

"Mother calm down,if act irrationally the fire might spread faster the fire people are on their way ".Brandon said I was so happy and then the cottage collapsed in the hole.

"How did this happen".lady Marie said to the guards.
