chapter four.....Him.

"thaniel you are walking".lady Marie said.

"Mother I wouldn't want her body to be scared".thaniel said.he was standing everyone was shocked.

"mother he is walking".Brandon said.

"how can this be possible". Ellis said

"Mother Can I leave with my wife".thaniel said coldly.

"thaniel she isn't fit to be your wife".lady Marie said.

"mother I am tired".he said Calmly.

"I hope you wouldn't let me down,everyone go to bed she will face her punishment tomorrow".lady Marie said.

I followed thaniel to his room,the room had a dark vibe the window were closed and it was covered with black curtains.the room was big,it had a king sized bed, a mini office, a bathroom, a balcony,and a big closet.the room was painted with dark colours and there wasn't enough light, and the room was cold. I couldn't see his face properly.

"sit on the bed".he ordered.shill ran down my spine.I sat down he stood up and locked the door. I looked at the big screen that hung on the wall.

he sat infront of me with a box. he switched on the bedside lamp.

"I need to clean your wound".he said coldly. he was handsome,he had deep blue eyes,his haircut was really low but had sporty waves, he smelled so nice, his skin was really smooth his skin was like hot chocolate, his perfect set of teeths and his lips.

"thank you".I said as he applied the bandage.

"You should be ready to fight and survive for going against my mother".he said quietly, he didn't look insane to me.

"what do you mean".I said.

"The people in this house are very dangerous, don't mess with them".he said and went to the bathroom.

He came out ten minutes later in his pyjamas, which was black too.

"is your favourite colour black".I said.

"go and shower I can't share the bed with you if you don't".he said as he applied cream to his face.

"I don't have anything to change into".I said. he went to to the closet and he gave me his pyjamas.

I went into the bathroom, there was a big tub but it was wooden,it was also very slippery and there was a mirror in the bathroom.I suddenly felt pain in my belly,it was my period,I was in trouble because I had no spare undergarments and a napkin. I opened the bathroom and peeped, he was reading a book.

I wondered how I was going to tell him,I needed lady rose.

"what do you want".he said disrupting my thoughts.

"can I go to lady rose's house".I said I was so embarrassed.

"it's late you can't but you can go see her tomorrow".he said calmly.

"it's important".I said then he stood up.

"it's obvious you are bent on stressing me, let me in".he said and I shifted myself from the door.

"It's important I see her".I said anxiously.

"it's your time of the month,I will be right back".he said as he looked at my dress that was stained with blood. and left. he came back later with two packets.

"what is this".I asked.he looked at me in shock.

"how old are you".he said.

"In six months I will be eighteen".I said calmly his eyes were filled with pity.

"you are still young, so you don't know what these are".he said.

"No,I don't".I said.

"This is called a sanitary pad, and this is an underwear".he said

"it's my first time of seeing these, we use napkins and wear undergarments".I said.

"look I have no time to explain much I will show you how to fix the pad with the underwear so you can do it on your own".he said. I watched him do it, it wasn't difficult.

"Also you flush the used pad in the toilet don't mess this place".he said and left.

I bathed and came out, I was so embarrassed then I joined him on the bed.

"thank you".I said.

"good night".he said.

I woke up with pains,thaniel was reading a book on the chair.

"good morning sir".I said as I stood up.

"it's afternoon".he said his eyes was so fixed on the book., his eyes were swollen either he didn't sleep or was crying. then we heard a knock. I wanted to open it but he stopped me.

"come in".he said.

"My lord, lady Marie......."the girl was scared.

"We will be there you may go".thaniel said and she left.

"Get ready, this is the second time she is coming here clothes are in the closet".he said nonchalantly. I opened the closet they were so many dresses, I picked a blue gown and then I went to the bathroom.

I came out ten minutes later, I brushed my hair and packed it,there were so many bottles on the dressing table.

"These are perfumes and deodorants,they are used for body and clothes, this is a lotion for the body, you can apply this on your hair to make it shine but first you need to apply the perfumes and deodorants like this".he said calmly. I watched him and then I did it.

"Thank you sir".I said calmly.

"you look pale, does your stomach hurt".he said.

"yes".I said.

"let's go and meet lady Marie first".he said and we left.

"Mother I can't believe this,how dare thaniel make you wait".Brandon said angrily.

"He is mother's favourite son".Ellis said.

"stop being jealous Ellis it won't do you any good". lady Martha said.

"How dare you butt in our family issue". Ellis said they all disliked their lady Martha because she spoke too much.

"you are so insolent for a thief, you have no right to speak to me like that".lady Martha said calmly.

"Martha you keep forgetting you are a free loader, isn't it shameful that you living in your younger sister's house and on top of that you have been divorced five times".Brandon said mockingly.

"Don't speak to my mother like that".Beth said angrily.

"The truth hurts,your mother is a failure and you have no right to speak to Brandon like that you are living in our house Beth".Draco said.

"Enough,you guys seemed to have forgotten the rules".lady Marie warned.

"They are here".lady Martha Whispered as we entered.

"good afternoon mother".thaniel said.

"good afternoon everyone".I said in a courtesy,they all glared at me.

"thaniel sit down".lady Marie said and he sat down and left me standing, I felt like a prey and they were my predators.

"why didn't you apply makeup, you insolent child".lady Marie said.

"I didn't want to look like a pig".I said,they were shocked at my response.

"Are you trying to say that we look like pigs".lady Martha said.

"I hate makeup and didn't say anything like that but if you choose to believe it, it's your problem, I think it's rude for you to butt in the conversation, lady Marie was talking to me".I said.

"You have a very sharp tongue, look at what you have done to my leg".lady Marie said pointing at the bruise.

"you tried to kill me, look at my neck and I didn't offend you whatever I did it was out of defense".I said, I was in so much pain and they let me stand, I looked at thaniel hoping he would say something but he didn't.

"Your husband is my son, he won't go against I will clip your wings even before you start to fly".lady Marie said coldly.

"I want to go home please".I cried,there was no one here to support or defend me and that was frightening.

"So you can cry,it's a pity you are wasting your tears look don't think of running away because you can't and even if you do I will find you and kill you myself".lady Marie said as she stood up.

"please let me go home,I can't stay here".I cried they were all smiling except from thaniel, I hated them.

"Take her to the hole"lady Marie said......
