chapter nineteen

Thaniel laid weakly on his bed after work, he was so tired,he had been very busy at the hospital. he was about to enter his bathroom when his door opened he had forgotten to lock the door.

"Bro".ellis said as he entered the room.

"What are you doing here".thaniel said he was angry at Ellis.

"Man chill I didn't see you at dinner,I was so worried so I decided to check on you". Ellis said.

"I was at work can you leave now".thaniel said.

"No bad blood can't I see you again".ellis said.

"ellis please leave me alone,when did we become friends".thaniel said.

"We are brothers I don't know why you are acting like this but you need to calm down". Ellis said

"I am sorry".thaniel said defeatedly.

"You seem stressed out man,how about we go out get girls to ease our stress".ellis said.

"you are so unbelievable,I can't believe she fell in love with a man who is not loyal to her".thaniel said as he glared at ellis.

"What do you mean".ellis said.

"Can you just be loyal to light she really loves you, it's not fair and today you treated her so badly and yet she supported you, please don't hurt her by cheating". thaniel said he was heart broken.

"Did she tell you this".ellis said in surprise.

"Ellis I won't sit and watch you hurt her feelings you may go".thaniel said.

"Okay bro I am leaving".ellis said and left.

I finished my chores at 12pm and then went back to the room,flair wasn't there, I went to bathe and I came back to the room.

"where are you going to".Flair said as she entered the room.

"I told you I have to go somewhere".I said.

"Look it's too dangerous,I brought your food and pig's blood."she said,I collected the bottle of blood from her.

"don't worry I am not going to do anything stupid just yet".I said.

"The guards are already sleeping you make me do dangerous things,be careful".she said worriedly.

"Don't worry I took the medicine and applied herbs on the leg mother".I said and we both laughed.

"Be safe".she said as she hugged me.

"I will you take care of yourself".I said and left. I climbed the wall and I entered lady Marie's balcony it was locked, I checked,she wasn't in the room so I opened it.I checked the bathroom to be sure,she wasn't there.

I checked everywhere but I couldn't find the medicine,I knew she wouldn't keep the medicine carelessly.I had checked everywhere except her dressing table it had a drawer but it was locked.It was very difficult to open,I struggled with it for five minutes then it opened.

I was so surprised to see the things that were inside,I saw medicine,a gold chain, some papers.I put everything in a bag,I spilled the blood on her bed and then I left.

I entered thaniel's balcony it was opened, it was like he was waiting for me.

"Good evening sir".I said as I entered the room. he was eating and I was very hungry.

"Good evening c...."

"I am really hungry".I said as I ran to sit beside him,I collected the spoon from him and ate.

"you have no manners at all".he said in surprise as he shifted himself.

"This is really nice,I am so hungry".I said while eating and he smiled.

"be careful so you don't choke".he said.

"please have some".I said as I gave him the spoon.

"Don't worry I am full, you washed your hair today".he said while patting my hair.

"how did you know".I said as I stuffed food in my mouth.

"It looks different by the way how is your leg".he said.

"Please give me water, it's better I applied herbs,you look very stressed".I said as he gave me water.

"I had a very hectic day at the hospital".he said as he wiped my mouth,I slapped his hand.

"Why did you touch me".I said I was already done eating.

"Calm down,I mean no harm".he said in suprise.

"Fine then I wanted to ask you a question".I said.

"What is it".he said.

"Is brandon sick".I asked.I wanted to get information on Brandon's health.

"None that I know of,why do you ask".he said

"You aren't close to your brother it's a pity please can you help me a write letter".I said.

"That's old fashioned,Is there any need for a love letter".he asked.

" It's really important don't worry I will write it myself".I said. I couldn't take any risk.

"Okay let me get pen and paper".he said as he stood up.

"Don't you use ink and a feather".I said as I cleaned the table.

"No,who uses that these days".he said, he was so suprised

"I do and am not going to use that pen ".I said.

"This is so unbelievable well you can use this small paint brush instead".he said.

"Thank you so much".I said as I collected the things from him.

"Okay good night I will go to bed now am really tired".he said as he yawned.

"good night friend".I said and he went to bed.

I wrote the letter and then I left the room, I dropped a letter and the medicine at Brandon's balcony, then I went to Ellis balcony.

"Even with that leg you are still moving about like an assassin". Ellis said while drawing on a book.

"You scared me,what are you doing outside". I said as I sat down.

"I love creating designs at night,what did you tell thaniel".he said.

"He thinks I love you right".I said mockingly and ellis laughed.

"That's so funny how could he believe such a thing".ellis said.

"Do you mean am ugly".I said.

"you are beautiful but I know my boundaries even though I say things all the time".ellis said.

"Stop sounding like a sensible person".I said.

"I have never seen thaniel behave so rudely before,he warned me about hurting you I was so surprised, but why are you lying".ellis said.

"He doesn't love me,he sees me as a child that he need to protect so I have decided to stop by feelings for him".I said calmly.

"That's deep, that's why I can never fall in love again it's too stressful just give him time thaniel only loved one woman all his life, when she died his world ended, he isn't aware of his feeling yet, he is a good man".ellis said.

"So that's your excuse,he hurt my feelings and you are supporting him".I said

"you need to understand each other, he is fool for believing the lies you told him".Ellis said.

"Look I need you to reach out to lady marie that her husband is betraying she should be careful around him and tell her to change their meetings date and location".I said.

"Wow am not surprised he is a sly fox".ellis said.

"Lady marie is a psychopath,she wants to burn them to death".I said.

"Wow that's crazy,I will deliver your message go away now,I need to concentrate".

ellis said.

"Fine am leaving now".I said as I stood up.

"good night".I said and left.

I went back to the room,flair was already asleep and I slept off.

"Brandon how was your night".lady marie said as she joined the table.

"Mother I am fine".Brandon said calmly.

"Good morning everyone".Lady marie said calmly.

"Good morning lady marie".they said in unison.

"Wow what's the occasion,well where is thaniel".lady marie said.

"good morning mother".thaniel said weakly as he sat down.

"Good morning you look like a weakling aren't you going to work". lady marie said.

"No lady marie". thaniel said.

"Mother he isn't a weakling,he looks sick". ellis said.

"Ellis how dare you contradict my words".lady marie said as she glared at him.

"But I ..."

"Mother he is sorry". thaniel said

"I wasn't talking to you thaniel".lady marie said.

"I am sorry mother".ellis said defeatedly.

"You had better be".lady marie said.

"Good morning lady marie, There is a letter for you".dylan said.....
