*Eloise’s POV* “Mom! Dad! I’m leaving for school!” Eloise called out to her parents as she rushed down stairs. Before she can anything she bumped into a tall dark haired man who stood in the doorway of the front door. Eloise fell on her butt as she looked up at the tall man before her mother spoke “Eloise! I would like you meet King Elliot. He’s the alpha of the blood moon pack.” The tall dark haired man held out his hand to Eloise to help her up and she kindly took it “thank you king Elliot and it’s a pleasure to meet you” she bows her head towards him after she’s on her feet to show respect to king Elliot. King Elliot stands there for a second and then says “it’s my pleasure Eloise” with a soft smile on his face. Eloise blushes a little bit before she says her goodbyes to her parents and king Elliot and meets her best friend in first period. “Blake!!!” Eloise cried “What’s wrong Eloise?” Blake looked at her worried. “I meet King Elliot of the blood moon pack today IN MY HOUSE!“ she whispered to him and she can see his eyes widened “You meet King Elliot! As in the Lycan King Elliot!” He says “Shhhhhhhhhhhh I don’t want people knowing.” Eloise says as she’s looking around. The bell rings and then the teacher walks in telling everyone to take their seats and he starts teaching the lesson as Blake and Eloise use their mind link to talk to one another in class like they been doing for years. The day goes by and schools already over with. Blake and Eloise walked home over to Eloise’s house and King Elliot was still there which was weird cause like why would a KING be in Eloise’s small town. It made no sense to her Blake let’s Eloise know he’s going to head home just in case he shouldn’t be here. she agrees and then walks inside and her parents and King Elliot are still in the living room as they were when she left for school. King Elliot looks at her and then back the door she walked in. “Who’s the boy?” He asks her. She looks at him in shock not knowing how good Lycans scent is. “He’s my best friend” she tells the king in a questionable tone in her voice. Eloise thinks to herself ‘what is going on here why is the king still here for what is so important he has to come to the lunar pack for?’ “Eloise..We need to talk all of us..” my dad says with a sad tone in his voice. Eloise sits next to her dad worried a little bit cause whenever they need to “talk” its never good. “I am fully aware you now what’s been going on with the black root pack” my dad says as I nod to agree with him. “Your mother and I are leaving in the morning with our best fighters and joining the fight and we will need you to run things around here until we come back.” My dad says to me as i looked him in complete shock. “But dad..tomorrows..” I look at him with tears in my eyes. “I know Eloise and I’m sorry we’re not going not be here to celebrate it with you but we know you will be just fine.” He says as he grabs my hands and held them with tears in his eyes. “I think we should spend some time before we leave dear, i mean it is her 18th birthday after all.” My mom tells my dad. My dad looks up at King Elliot who nods his head to agree with my mom. “Alright we will tomorrow afternoon then.” My dad says. I looked up at them and then smiled softly then i remembered what my dad said ‘you will run things around until we come back’ i looked at my dad with tears rolling down my face. “But dad i don’t know the first thing about running a pack! Especially one that doesn’t think I’m fit to become the first female alpha!” I tell him. “They have no choice in who is to become alpha and they will have to listen to you while we are gone and I will make sure they know their place if no it they will no longer be apart on the lunar pack until they come to if the fact my only child will become the first female alpha our pack has ever had?!” He says in anger. “We should hold a pack meeting dad to let the others know what’s going on and what’s going to happen” i suggest to my dad. “Yes I agree, I will send a mind link to everyone that there will be a meeting in 30 minutes and everyone is to be there no matter what.” My dad says as he stand up to walk to the front door before opening it King Elliot stops him. “I believe we should talk after you send the message to your pack.” King Elliot says as my dad nods in agreement “we can talk in my office your majesty.” My dad say to him. King Elliot nods and steps away from my dad so he can send his message to the pack and just few a seconds after my step outside we here his voice. ‘ALL PACK MEMBERS! THERE WILL BE A MEETING IN 30 MINUTES EVERYONE IS TO BE THERE NO MATTER WHAT IS THAT CLEAR!’ Seconds later we hear everyone in the agree and my dad walks back into the house and shows King Elliot towards his office leaving my mother and I in the living room. “Mom?” I said facing towards her “Yes love what’s the matter?” She says to me. “What am I supposed to do as alpha while you and dad are away?” I asked as i played with my hands. “You will know when it comes down to it love trust me you will an amazing alpha, I know you will.” She says cupping my face to look at her with a smile on her face.
