Chapter 4

*ELOISE’S POV*

A few minutes go by after the meeting and I walk towards Rafael and the others. "Eloise!" Rafael says to me after he spots me walking to them. "Eloise..they found them..but when they arrived..your parents.." He says as he slowly stops talking. "They what?! You can't say something like that then stop talking about something like that." I yell at him. "When the others arrived they found the other members and your parents, but your parents..Eloise I don't know how to say this but they was attacked by something..Whatever it was that attacked them only wanted your parents it's like they knew they was going to be going that way." He said just watching me with a sad hurt face."Don't tell me..please..please don't!" I cired."I'm sorry Eloise..Your parents didn't make it.." Rafael said as he had to prepare himself for what just happened. I stood there in heartbreak with the words he spoke in my head playing on repeat. 'Your parents didn't make it' I broke down crying not knowing what I'm about to say to the other members about our alpha and luna. "a..an.and..the other members?" I asked as I crying uncontrollably. "They were taken to the Black Root Pack for aid.." Rafael said not even bothering to look at me. I nod with a small amount of relief knowing I don't have to tell their families that their alpha made a bad choice in helping the neighboring packs in fighting. "Where are they taking my parents to?" I ask Rafael. "I'm not sure yet King Elliot is handling the preparations for them." He says. "Okay..I think its time we go have a little chat with man that broke into my house.." I tell Rafael and the others as they nod but Rafael doesn't say anything nor move. We walk towards the cellar. ”Rafael..can I ask you something..” I say to Rafael as we get closer to the cellar.

“What is Eloise?” He says.

“What happens now..you know with me..I was supposed to be alpha when they returned but their not coming back so what am I supposed to do?” I ask as I try to hold back tears.

“I believe that is a question you can only ask yourself Eloise, I simply cannot answer that for I am just our betas son.” He says to me

We reach our packs cellar and walk down the steps when we hear screams of pain and someone cussing in another language.

“Damn it! Why must you be so stubborn!” A man yells as we hear screams again and again.

“Gentlemen?” I ask as they all turn around and bow to me “my lady..” they say at once.

“He’s not talking is he?” I ask in a sad tone.

“No my lady but he will I promise you that” one man says as the prisoner laughs and speaks again in a language we don’t understand.

We hear the cellar door open and footsteps walking down the stairs. “Who the hell’s that!?” I ask Rafael who isn’t saying anything.

“Eloise!!” Elliot says once he steps down from the last step.

“Elliot” I cry as I hug him not knowing why I’m like this with him but shockingly he hugs me back promising everything will be okay.

“I brought your parents home Eloise I will have my men take you to see them whenever your ready” he says to me hugging me a bit tighter but not enough to hurt me.

“Thank you my lord..” I say crying at the fact he’s caring about a lane wolf as such as myself.

“Rafael?” He says.

“Yes my lord?” Rafael say bowing down with his hand over his heart towards Elliot.

“Please take Eloise out of range from here I will handle him myself” he says as I look up at him.

“What no I’m staying!” I say to Elliot.

“NO YOU ARE NOT!” He growls as he looks down and says “ you do not need to see what is about to take place here Eloise so you can either go with Rafael willingly or not it’s your choice!”

I stop hugging him and step back both of us just looking at one another pissed.

“I..AM..STAYING!” I tell him

“Very well then!” He nods toward Rafael who then picks me up and takes me away from the cellar.

“What the f**k Rafael! Put me down I have to be there I have to know why you this is happening! RAFAEL!!!” I yell to him as I hit him on the chest repeatedly.

“ELIOSE!! Just stop it okay! I have been given orders and I have to do them or else!” He says to me. “Look I know you want to know what happened with everything but King Elliot is a scary man and if you had my hearing you would know why..he’s doing this to protect you not hurt or to piss you off so can you stop hitting me now?”

I stop hitting him “I’m sorry I just don’t see why everyone wants to protect me I’m weak and can’t do anything..”

Rafael stops and doesn’t say anything.

“Rafael..”I say before he covers my mouth and puts his finger to his mouth.

‘Eloise don’t say anything and whatever you do STAY BEHIND ME!’ Rafael mind links to me.

I nod as he watches around us.

*Rafaels POV*

‘Where the hell is he!’ I thought to myself.

My eyes try to pin point the location of the rouges scent.

‘My lord please send help we haven’t made it back to the house yet and there’s a rouge wolf!’ I mindlink to to king Elliot.

‘Damn it why can’t I f*****g pin point his location’ I think getting pissed off.

‘Rafael we need to get out of here I’m scared’ Eloise mindlinks to me. I nod and picked her up and ran back to the cellar where king Elliot was running towards us about to transform until he seen Eloise.

“ELIOSE!” Elliot said as he grabbed her from my arms “Rafael what happened? Are y’all both alright?”

“Yes my lord I made sure her safety was put first before mine..I smelt the rouges scent when we got a mile from here but I couldn’t pin point his location and I was scared for her safety cause if I can’t pin point his location I’ll have a harder time protecting her by the time I do..” I explained to him.

“I see..from now on I want three men along side both of you at all times. We can not let anything happen to her understand gentleman?!” Elliot said to us as I nodded along with the others.

*Elliots POV*

‘There’s no way in hell I’m going to let anything happen to her!’ I thought to myself.

‘She just lost her family and now their here!DAMN IT!!!’ I almost nearly forgot about Eloise being in my arms until she moved a bit.

“Eloise are you alright my lady?” I ask her

“Yes I’m fine I just want to know what’s going on?” She says to me.

“I’ll explain everything later but right now we to make sure your village is safe-“ I say right before we hear a scream coming from the pack house.

Eloise shot out of my arms transformed into the most beautiful white wolf I have ever seen and started towards the pack house.

“Eloise!!” I yelled before my men and I transformed and followed behind her.

‘Damn she’s fast for a normal wolf’ Rafael mindlink to me ‘I know’ I replied back.
