Chapter 3

*Eloise’s POV*

I wake up at 7:00 and jump in the shower getting ready to have breakfast with Elliot for my birthday.

‘Is this really happening?’ I think to myself.

‘Is the king of lycans really wanting to take out for breakfast for my birthday?’

I step out the shower and wrap and towel around as I start doing my makeup.

‘EVERYONE WHO IS LEAVING TO FIGHT WE NEEDS TO LEAVE NOW!’ My dad says through mind link.

“WHAT!” I yell as I run down stairs in nothing but a towel seeing my parents walking out the front door.

“Wait!” I yell out to them.

I quickly grab a robe from the laundry basket the was sitting in the couch before they walked out, mom must have been doing laundry before dad sent the link.

I open the front door to see the group of members who have joined my parents in the fight in our front yard all just looking at me, then I seen my dad walking through the crowd.

“DAD!” I yell to him.

He turns to look at me, but something’s off about him.

He looks angry towards me and then sees what I am in.

“ELOISE ROSE MOON! WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE DOING OUTSIDE DRESSED LIKE THAT!?” He says as what looked like two steps towards me before he dragged me inside the house.

“What the hell do you think your doing leaving when you said you would spend time with me then leave!?” I yell at him.

“Things changed Eloise! You know this!” He snapped back.

“Why do you think King Elliot isn’t here OR his men?..”he says just staring at me “they had to leave early this morning..and so do we now..” he says as he looks down hurt.

“What?..He left early..”I say in a low tone.

“Love we wanted to stay until this afternoon but King Elliot has ordered us to leave early..before he got there..another attack had happen..” my mom says to me with tears in her eyes.

“He ordered you?..” tears start to fill my eyes slightly burning.

They both nod.

“We will be back as soon as the fight is over I promise Eloise. I know you can lead this pack while I am gone, I believe in you.” My dad says as he pulls me in for a hug.

My dad opens a arm up towards my mom for her to join in which she does and we just stand there holding each other.

“We have to go Eloise I will call as soon as I can I promise.” My dad lets us go and kisses my forehead as tears run down my face.

“We love you dear and we will always love you.” My mom says to me as she smiles and then both of my parents walked the door as my dad yelled something to the crowd.

I stood there for what felt like hours, until Rafael walked in.

“My lady?” He bowed to me.

“They left..”I cried. “They all left me..”

“My lady” he tries to say.

“Eloise..please call me Eloise..” I ask him as he nods.

“Eloise..I assure you it’s not like that. They will come back safely, King Elliot is with them.” He says to me not knowing what to do.

“They agreed to spend time with me before they left..” I say as I start walking upstairs.

“Eloise where are you going now?” He says to me.

“I’m in nothing but a robe! I need to get dressed for the day cause I don’t want to be in a robe all day!” I yell to him only hearing a sign in response.

‘HAPPY BIRTHDAY BESTFRIEND!!!!???’ Blake texts me.

I laugh at my phone as I slip into a black fishnet tub top pair with a black mini skirt with fishnets underneath and put on my black high tops.

‘Thank you bestie!’ I text back.

I head down stairs throwing my hair up into a ponytail when I see my dad home office door opened a little bit.

‘Why is his door opened?’ I thought to myself.

I go to reach for the door knob when Rafael grabs my hand and covers my mouth moving me quickly and quietly away from the door.

He puts a finger over his lips telling me to not make a sound when another lycan comes up stairs not making any noise.

Rafael nods his head towards my dads office doors to the other lycan as he walks in and Rafael picks me up to get me out of the way.

Rafael finally got me down stairs and almost out the door when out of nowhere a man goes flying out of my dads office followed by the lycan Rafael sent in there walking out to pick up the strange man.

“Rafael what’s going on?” I ask him as he carries me away from my house.

“I will explain later. Right now I have to get you away from here.” He tells me.

I see more lycans running towards my house when it hit me.

“Rafael please put me down.” I ask him but he doesn’t listen.

“RAFAEL PUT ME DOWN!” I yelled and then he stopped and gently put me down.

“Who are they and why are they in my house!” I ask him.

“We don’t know! He’s not one of us nor yours.” He finally tells me.

I stand there looking at him in shock not know what to say nor do.

“Is this an attack?” I ask him.

He nods his head and one of men that was at my house comes up to us.

“My lady!” The man says as he bows to me.

“We managed to capture the man that was in your house but he’s unconscious so we won’t be able to get anything out of him until he wakes up.”

“I see, we have a cellar north of the pack house you can take him there. Make sure no matter what he doesn’t escape I want answers from him I don’t care how we get it. Even if it means death he will talk.” I tell the man and Rafael.

“Yes my lady I’ll let the others know.” The man says to me and then leaves.

“Nice call alpha” Rafael says with a soft laugh.

“He was in my house! And not just my house but my dads office! I don’t know who or why he was there but it can’t be good.” I tell Rafaela’s my phone rings but it’s a unknown number.

“Hello?” I say.

“ELOISE!” The person on the other end says.

“Who is this?” I ask.

“It’s Elliot! Is everything okay? I was just informed about what just happened!” Elliot says

“I’m not sure but I had your men take him to our cellar until we get answers on why he was here..” I say.

“Good just be careful.” He says.

“We will be and have my parents arrived yet? They haven’t called me since they left this morning..” I ask him but the line goes silent.

“Hello? Elliot?” I ask.

“What time did they leave?” He asks.

“Around 7:00am! Why are they not there?” I ask trying not to freak out.

“I want a five men to head towards the Lunar packs village NOW!!” He yells.

“Wait Elliot!..” i say.

“I have to go Eloise!” He says before hanging up.

‘I WANT EVERYONE TO REPORT TO THE PACK HOUSE’ I send a mind link to everyone in the village.

“Let’s head to the pack house I need to inform the rest of the members.” I tell Rafael.

“Eloise! We should wait!” He says.

“NO! Something is happening and..and..” I start tearing up.

“And what Eloise?” He asks.

“My parents..my parents haven’t made it to the Black root village yet..”I say with tears filling my eyes.

Rafael hugs me not knowing what else to do and I cry even more in his arms.

After a few minutes I wipe my tears away and thanked him for the hug.

We walk to pack house not saying anything to one another lost in our thoughts.

As we reach the pack house Rafael opens the door and holds it open for me and I walk in and nodded my head towards him as a thank you.

As we walk towards the front on the house and yet again I feel all eyes on me.

'I wish my pack would stop staring at me, it makes me so damn nervous.' I think to myself.

"I want to start out by saying thank you for coming on such short notice, As you all know my parents and the others left this morning to join King Elliot and the Black Root pack in the fight.." I said as I took deep breath in getting myself ready to say the rest of the information.

"Just before I called the meeting there was someone from another pack that's not from other part of the land..Rafael and the other lycans caught him while he was in my fathers office.." I stop to see Rafael walk out the pack house on the phone.

"We are still trying to find out who he is and what he was doing here."

"There's more then the break in.." I paused to stop myself from crying.

"My parents and the other members have yet to arrive to the Black Root pack.." I hear the rest of the pack members worrying and talking amongst themselves.

"How do you know they haven't arrived!!"' one girl said in the crowd.

"King Elliot called after the break in happened and I asked if my parents and the others have arrived and he asked me what time did they leave and I told and he sent five of his men to look for them due to the fact they have yet to arrived..and my parents also promised they would call when they arrived and they haven't.." I started to tear up as I seen Rafael walk back in as he just looks at me with a sad look on his face.

I look him and he shakes his head and I felt like I was about to do about this since I'm their alpha until they return if they return..
