Lexie's eyes narrowed as she thought about Kaina. She was getting closer to the truth, and Lexie knew she had to stop her. She couldn't let Kaina ruin everything she had worked for.
A sinister plan began to form in Lexie's mind. She would get rid of Kaina once and for all. No one would suspect a thing, and Lexie would finally be able to achieve her goals without any obstacles.
But just as Lexie was about to put her plan into action, Ethan appeared out of nowhere. "What are you doing, Lexie?" he asked, his voice low and menacing.
Lexie spun around, her heart racing. "Nothing," she lied. "Just thinking about how to deal with Kaina."
Ethan's eyes narrowed. "I know what you're thinking, Lexie. And I won't let you do it."
Lexie's face twisted in anger. "You can't stop me," she spat. "I'll do whatever it takes to get what I want."
Ethan's expression turned cold. "If you harm Kaina, you'll regret it. I'll make sure of it."
Lexie's eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't expected Ethan to react this way. But as she looked into his eyes, she saw something there that made her blood run cold.
Ethan was serious. He would stop at nothing to protect Kaina. And Lexie knew that she had underestimated him.
For now, Lexie would have to put her plan on hold. But she vowed to find another way to get rid of Kaina. And next time, Ethan wouldn't be able to stop her.
As Lexie turned to leave, Ethan caught her arm. "Remember, Lexie. I'm watching you. And if you even think about hurting Kaina, you'll answer to me."
Lexie's eyes flashed with anger, but she knew better than to cross Ethan. She nodded curtly and turned to leave, her mind already racing with new plans and schemes.
But Ethan's words had left her with a sense of unease. She knew that she had to be careful, that Ethan was not a man to be trifled with.
And as she walked away, Lexie couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She glanced over her shoulder, but Ethan was nowhere to be seen.
Still, the feeling persisted. And Lexie knew that she had to be on her guard. For in the world of wealth and privilege, alliances were forged and broken with ease.
