CHAPTER 1
As Kaina walked around the campus, she couldn't help but notice the whispers and stares from the other students. They were all talking about the president's child who was supposed to transfer to the university. Kaina smiled to herself, knowing that she was the one they were all talking about.
But what she didn't expect was to see Lexie Tracy Arellano, a girl who looked like she just stepped out of a fashion magazine, pretending to be her. Lexie was wearing designer clothes and jewelry, and she had a confident air about her that made Kaina wonder how she had managed to fool everyone.
Kaina decided to observe Lexie from afar, curious about what she was going to do next. She watched as Lexie walked into the cafeteria, where she was immediately swarmed by students who were all clamoring for her attention.
"Hi, I'm Lexie," she said, smiling brightly at everyone. "I'm the president's daughter."
Kaina rolled her eyes, amazed at how easily Lexie was able to deceive everyone. She decided to keep a low profile and avoid drawing attention to herself, at least for now.
But as the days went by, Kaina found it harder and harder to ignore Lexie's antics. Lexie was everywhere, attending parties and events, and even giving interviews to the school newspaper. Kaina couldn't believe how much attention Lexie was getting, and she started to feel like she was being pushed into the shadows.
One day, Kaina decided that she had had enough. She walked up to Lexie, who was sitting at a table in the cafeteria, surrounded by admirers.
"Lexie, can I talk to you for a minute?" Kaina asked, her voice firm but polite.
Lexie looked up at her, a mixture of surprise and curiosity on her face. "Sure, what's up?" she asked.
Kaina took a deep breath and plunged ahead. "I know what you're doing, Lexie. You're pretending to be me, aren't you?"
Lexie's eyes widened in shock, and for a moment, Kaina thought she saw a glimmer of guilt there. But then Lexie's face smoothed out, and she smiled sweetly at Kaina.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Lexie said, her voice dripping with innocence.
Kaina sighed, frustrated. She knew that she had to do something to stop Lexie, but she didn't know what.
As she walked away from the cafeteria, Kaina couldn't help but wonder what Lexie's motives were. Why was she pretending to be the president's daughter? And what did she hope to gain from it?
Kaina was determined to find out. She started to investigate Lexie's background, looking for any clues that might explain why she was pretending to be someone she's not.
As she dug deeper, Kaina discovered that Lexie came from a wealthy family, but one that was not as influential as the president's. Kaina realized that Lexie was probably trying to use her fake identity to gain access to the privileges and opportunities that came with being the president's daughter.
But Kaina was not going to let Lexie get away with it. She was determined to expose Lexie's true identity and reclaim her rightful place as the president's daughter.
The battle between Kaina and Lexie had only just begun.
