As Kaina watched Lexie disappear into the crowd, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was off. Where was Lexie getting all this expensive stuff? And why was she being so secretive about it?

Kaina decided to do some digging and started by asking around school. She talked to Lexie's friends, but none of them seemed to know anything about Lexie's newfound wealth.

"Who is he?" Kaina asked Alex, her eyes locked on his.

Alex hesitated, looking around nervously. "I don't know if I should be telling you this," he said quietly.

Kaina leaned in, her voice barely above a whisper. "Please, Alex. I need to know what's going on."

Alex took a deep breath before speaking. "His name is Ethan Blackwood. He's a wealthy businessman, and he's been seen around town with Lexie several times."

Kaina's eyes widened as she processed the information. Ethan Blackwood? She had heard of him before. He was a notorious playboy, known for his wealth and his love of beautiful women.

Suddenly, the pieces clicked into place. Lexie was getting money and gifts from Ethan Blackwood, and she was using them to buy expensive clothes and accessories.
