*******One Week Earlier**********
Paige was asleep on her bed in her cell. She was tossing and turning the entire time. She been planning on an escape and killing everyone who get in her way. Kevin been talking of ways they can leave the cells once they get a distraction going. They needed a date and the other mutants to get on board faster than what they were doing. Kevin has been working on all of that, while she was thinking of ways she wanted to torture Mark. I will kill him, and soon. Bastard really had me falling for his dumbass, she was upset with herself. She was finally getting some soundless sleep when her grandmother appeared in her dream. They were sitting on the back porch of the cabin like they did when she was little. She rested her head in her grandmother's lap. For some reason Paige was sad and needing her grandmother more and more each day. Brushing Paige's hair back with her hand Cora began.....
"You have definitely turned out different than I had expected. I am proud of what you have been doing for your people". Cora said smiling down at her.
"Grandmother... I miss you so much. I need you more than ever now", Paige said with tears in her eyes, as she hugs her grandmother tightly around her waist.
"Ohh sweetie, it is going to be okay", she said hugging her back ad kissing the top of her head. "We have much to discuss with little time. Do you remember your oldest sister?"
"What sister?" Paige looked up at her grandmother like she had many times before. Continuing, "It's always been Aria and I", Paige said with confusion on her face. She waited on her grandmother to explain. Cora took a deep breath.
"That's not true sweetie. It was you two after the explosion", she stopped to take another deep breath knowing this will be one long talk. They didn't have much time so she got right to the point.
"We thought Grace died. For years I was getting pieces of visions; using spells and potions to find her after the ancestors told me to search for her many years ago. She was kidn*pped by some very bad people and we haven't found yet. Aria will find you both but I need you to get this information to her. I am not able to tell you much about her because it will affect the future. I know you can reach her through your telepathic link. You have to get Aria on board with it because it will take the both of you to reach her", Cora told her.
"Grandmother, Aria is blocked. I sometimes cannot reach her".
"Do not worry about that my child. We will fix that problem, you focus on reaching her", Cora said.
"Even if the blockage is lifted why would we forget about a sister? How is that even possible, we're mutants and have magic. It doesn't make any sense". Paige was confused and angry. She was sitting up now looking at her grandmother.
"Paige you must understand, it was not my choice to have you girls away from each other. Grace was presumed dead and once the ancestors came to me, she had been lost forever. Something has been blocking us to her as well. I can't say what because no one knows what. Even now I am still searching". she stopped to caress Paige's cheek. "You are strong like your mother child. You two together will get you out of the situation you are in. The three of you will shake the world up. I love you my child but I must go".
"Grandmother wait, I have a question". She took a deep breath, already sure she knew the answer to her question. "Is it someone I may know or have seen before?".
"I can only say that you will know once you and Aria communicating properly, you both will know her", Cora said smiling. Hoping that was enough, she kissed her cheek and faded away.
Paige woke up, trying to reach Aria. She couldn't believe they had another sister and she was the oldest. Paige was the third child now instead of the second. I guess I was meant to be the baby. She thought laughing. Focusing on Aria she called for her over and over. With no luck Paige decided to mediate, hoping that was what she needed to get her through to her sister. She was not giving up until she reached her.

"Why don't we have Aria and why is Kat sleeping? Is she hurt Morris?", the doctor asked. Kat was his most precious prize. She was stronger than any mutant he ever came across by and much faster. Nothing stopped her from getting where she wanted to be. She was a hard ass growing up but she tamed her using different medications that will make her his soldier. Only one worked for about a weeks time, then he was doing it again. That last serum had Kat doing whatever he said when he said it and he had created his killing machine.
"Somehow the girl effected the medication making it wear off completely. I had to bring her here immediately, your orders and we can get the girl once Kat is back", he said.
"What do you mean completely gone?" the doctor asked.
"I mean like when she wake up she won't be Kat", Morris said.
"We'll wait until she wakes up to see what you are talking about", he said. Continued with, "Take her to the lab so we can manage her vitals and brain activity".
Morris scoops her up bridal style and carry her to the lab. Doctors were everywhere testing on other mutants and making serums and antidotes. They were trying to find ways to expand the mutant gene to humans with cancer or tumors, anything that can make the human species live longer than them. As well as making them weapons. Some hated mutants and some were infatuated with them. Whatever the case they wanted them all at their disposal. Morris just shook his head as he walked out of the lab. He hated what they were doing; he was raised there so he never said anything.
It took Kat seven hours before she fully was conscience. She was stirring about an hour after she was in the lab. They didn't know what it was that made her like that or made her take long to wake up. Kat was somewhere stuck in a dreamland as the doctors and nurses put it but what they did not understand is, she was never going to stop fighting to be her again.

Aria was driving the last 30 minutes to the National Guard in St. Augustine, when Darren opened his eyes. She had the music playing so if he did move she did not recognize it. She was singing one of her favorite songs " Big Girls Don't Cry", by Fergie.
They were at the light before they turn to go onto the base. She turns down the music and that's when Darren spoke.
"My black bookbag has my ID in it, It'll get us in", he said.
Because she was thinking and about to turn to him, he scared her so much that she jumped and slapped him at the same time.
"Hey what was that for?" he asked.
"What the hell is wrong with you? Why would you scared me like that", she yelled looking at him winced holding his side.
"Ohh God Darren I am so sorry about that".
It's fine. I'm fine Aria", he said trying to sit up. "Now get my bag and ID". he instructed.
Aria grab the bag from the backseat, fished for his ID then turned into the gates. She gave the man at the window his ID, he looks inside the car and wave and the man returns the ID. They drive in and Darren gives Aria the directions on where they are going. She is hopeful that this visit will give her everything she needs to find her sister. Once they park Aria turns to face Darren.
"Are we taking everything inside and will this place be able to really help me?" she asked. She wasn't certain why she felt a strange atmosphere. It startled her but she did not show any signs it did.
Darren was looking at her but he was not responding. He knew she said something but all he could see was how beautiful she was. How he got them into the situation they were in and knowing that those people inside were going to treat her like an object instead of a magnificent person. Look at those lips and those pretty eyes. Gorgeous.
"My God you are so beautiful", he said.
She stared at him blankly, blushed a little, then it was gone.
"Uhhhh Darren are you okay?" she looked at him with concern. She couldn't believe what he just said to her.
How hard did he hit his head, she thought.
"What? Uhh yeah. We need to get going", he said.
"Are we taking everything?", she asked again.
"No,I'll have someone come get it", he said, shaking his head a little.
"Okay", she said as they got out of the car. She helped him inside and they made their way into so secret room that was behind a wall. No one would have even known it was there, it just looked like a wall; in front of it was a statue for some old soldier. They walked through and she saw everything she needed to find her sister. Someone turned to them and walked over.
Darren knew the older man as he said "General".
"Glad to have you back Smith. We were getting worried", he said. He then looks at aria and say, "you found her", speaking to Darren.
Darren can see the how the general is looking at Aria, like he just won a prize. Aria stares at him like he lost his mind. She was disgusted at that look. People always gave her those like she was getting bet on. She was a person and will be treated as such.
"Is there something wrong with your eyes General", she said not batting an eye. It was not a question more of a statement, to let him know she can see how he was watching her. His have slightly salt and pepper hair, with laughing lines coming in around his almond shaped dark gray colored eyes and was about 6'2, nice solid weight and evenly portioned. I bet he had all the ladies, she thought. He was handsome but that look was going to make her punch him right in the nose. She could tell it was never broken, as she smirked.
"Oh no ma'am. My apologies. I am very intrigued by you", he said still looking at her the same way with a little more excitement.
Darren saw the look on Aria face and took that time to ask to be checked.
"Can you get one of the nurses for me General Hall?", he asked.
"Yeah sure thing", he said walking away.
"What an ass", Aria, stating the obvious.
"Yes he is. Most of them will do the same thing so try to ignore it", Darren said.
"I'll stick him in the wall Darren, I swear I will", she angrily said.
"Do try to stay calm Aria. We don't need anymore enemies", he finished just as the General was walking back to them. She looked at him a little taken aback but understood what he meant.
"The nurse is coming soon. Do you want to come and sit at the big table so we can put all of our resources together?", General Hall asked, looking between them, as he returned.
As they followed General Hall to the big table, they saw all the screens, with so much information about all the mutants they came in contact with and some they did not meet yet. Kat's face was with the Society and some man in a white lab coat. Paige face was everywhere. All the helping she did for the humans and mutants she saved. On the dry board there was her face and her family and Paige saying they were sisters. Had their parents up there but not there grandmother; that was a mystery to her. Darren knew about her grandmother, how come he did not tell them? Or maybe they do actually know and don't have a picture of her? I don't see her name anywhere, she thought to herself, while looking at all the information presented. Aria was so caught up with all the information they had about her and the lack thereof, that she did not hear General Hall calling her name.
"Mrs. Collins", he called her again for the third time.
"Mmmmm", she said not taking her eyes off the board.
"Would you like to see more? We have information on Paige's whereabouts of the just last year.", he informed her.
That peaked her interest, as she turn towards him and began to walk. Darren said 3 years he didn't know where she was. How in the f**k does he have whereabouts from last year? Darren will hear my mouth after I get all the information I need and then I will leave him here, she thought. She was angry with Darren felt played and didn't trust him even more now.
"Last year you say", she repeated him, showing him she was not surprised at all. It bothered her that he was looking at her like that.
"Yes. We location a tracker just outside of the Mediterranean area, close to Ibiza. I believe she was captured there". He pointed to a small beach called Cala Boix.
He continue, "We've been there but nothing shows that anything is out there. We had men go under water for any openings, hideaways or secret paths. We saw nothing. So we stopped looking there and started the search at other beaches nearby. We found some mutants in a cave on another beach, said they were waiting on Paige. That's how we knew we were getting close".
"A cave on a beach?", she asked looking at him strangely.
"Yes ma'am. One of the mutants powers is sand and another was mending things together to his liking. The place was a disguise to everyone else but we knew what to look for", he finished.
"SO what exactly do you do with the mutants here?",she asked him.
"I can show you better than I can tell you", he said.Just then she realized that Darren was gone.
As if she knew what worried her he smirked stating, "Darren is in the health center for humans and will join us once he is better. I don't bite Mrs. Collins".
Boy I will kill you, she thought.
She smiled at him "Lead the way", she said.
Following him through two sets of double doors and down a very long hallway, she saw the beginning of each mutants in different cell rooms. They looked comfortable but why do they have them locked away.
"Are they all locked up this way?", she asked stopping at a little girl with brown hair in a braid down her back. She was sitting on the bed playing with dolls, when she suddenly looked up at the window.
"She's here", the little girl said, as she touch the glass where Aria was standing. "I knew you would come".
Because Aria could read lips she knew what the little girl said and she just smiled and nodded her head. The little girl ran back to her bed, looked at Aria again and said "So beautiful".
They began to walk again.
"They are only in here for their and our safety. Some of them are very dangerous and reckless. We want to help these mutants and put them in a place with their kind".
"Their kind?" Aria began but before she could start, one of the mutants was banging on the window of their cell.
Getting her full attention, the mutant stopped as the guard walked towards the cell. Aria stopped in front of the little boy with reddish brown hair, he could have been 13 at the most with his fist on the window. He had light tan scar going down his face, through his left eye. He looked at the guard, back to Aria. Aria just touch the window where is fist is. Not using her powers it was as if she could feel the little boy through the glass. He sensed it as well and opened his hand as the warmth from the window was all he needed. He was looking her in the eye when she heard a voice.
"Ms. Aria? Are you Ms. Aria?", he asked
His voice was low and soft. She knew she could hear him in her mind because his mouth never moved, so she nodded.
"Is Ms. Paige with you?", he asked another question.
"No. I am looking for her. Did she bring you here?", she asked. He nodded.
"Okay. Do you know where you were when you last seen her?", she asked.
He nodded, then closed his eyes.
All of a sudden she was seeing a flashback of the little boys when he was last with Paige. Paige was telling them they had to be strong and brave. She showed them a way to get out if someone ever came to get them who wasn't her or the general. The next day Paige had left and he followed her, up in the trees as she was on the ground. They were gone for 9 hours. Way more than the time she had ever left them alone. Aria knew she could tell he was there the entire time. So when she stopped near a tree where she could see very well down on the Cala Boix beach, she turned to him. He was scared out his mind and jumped so hard that he fell out of the tree. She laughed so hard at him while picking him up.
"What did I tell you about protecting the others" she said to the little boy dusting off his clothes.
"I will protect you?", he asked her back.
"Zackary I don't need protection, you do and you have to protect the others", she said.
"I'm not leaving you Ms. Paige. We have to have a partner so if anything happens the other can tell what happen", the little said with defiance.
"This why I don't even want children" she said and he smiled at her. "Back in the tree now. I'm going to find a way to get caught-" he cut her off asking
"How the f**k will that help us?".
She slapped his head and said "What did I say about bad language? My mind is made up. This will help everyone. I have to help those inside too. We taking down the Society. When they take me, promise me you will not follow".
He looked at her with tears in his eyes.
"Promise me now Zackary", she said again.
He just nodded his head as tears ran down his face.
"Be brave and protect the other, Understand?".
He nodded again and she hugged him to her. She pulled back and told him to get back into the tree.
As they move on about a mile farther, Paige stepped on the wire that alerted when mutant was too close to the area. Paige looked up at Zackary and ran another mile ahead. Zackary went a half of mileback so they wouldn't see him. He watched as two men came and fought Paige then took her. He could see her but she couldn't see him, at least that was what he thought, until she did the signal to telling him to go back. He stayed put as the went into do boat that took her deep enough for the vehicle to turn into a mini submarine and went straight under the water.
Zackary then opened his eyes looking at Aria smiling.
"Find her please and I want to go with you", he said to her.
"Oh no Zackary, you cannot come with me but I will find her and come back for all of you".
Zackary moved his hand away from the window, looking angry. Aria thought he was upset with her as she tried to connect with him again. He shook his head and moved to his bed, staring at the general.
The general placed his hand on Aria shoulder saying, " Is everything alright?".
Aria now understood why Zackary left.
"Yes. Let's continue", she said looking back at Zackary.
**************************************************************************************************************
An Hour Later
She saw all the mutants, at least enough of them and they all seemed to know who she was. Darren had not joined them for he was fast asleep after they doped him up on pain meds. The General had given Aria a room on the 5th floor to rest in for as long as they needed to stay. It did not matter to him for her knew she would find Paige, that would lead them to the other mutants.
Aria was now in some clothes they had given her to sleep in and was eating small box of cheese pizza with and a lemonade. She had the tv on but was not watching. She was thinking about Zackary. What was his power exactly? If it was not for him, she would not know where her sister was. She was close without him, but he gave her everything else she needed. First thing tomorrow she was out of there. She wondered if anyone else know. He was a smart boy I am sure he did not tell anyone else, she said to herself. Just as Aria was cleaning up her mess, she heard Paige's voice.
"Aria"
"Paige is that you?", she asked
"Yes. Hey your power is working. I only tried this time and you heard me", Paige yelled in their mind.
"Too loud Paige. I know how to get to you", Aria said.
"Great. Darren told you everything then-", she was cut off.
"Uhhhh yes and no. We ran into Kat and that was weird but then we made it to the Base and I met Zackary. He-".Paige stopped her.
"If you are in there, you need to get them out. They fake like they want better for our people but they don't. Aria get them out. They put trackers in them", Paige could not stress it enough.
"How am I supposed to let them out if I'm here to get you and some other girl back. I have one thing I'm going to do and that's focus on you. We can come back for them. I told him that I would". Aria had promise in her voice and Paige understood.
"Okay that's fine but I do have information from grandmother for you", Paige said.
"What more could she possibly want to tell me?", Aria asked rolling her eyes.
"Uhhh you need to get to me fast because it'll take both of us honestly to get our sister back. Isn't that sick, we have another sister and she's older". she said to Aria excited.
Aria did not feel excited at all.
"Paige we don't even know if that is true. Some sister we never met", she said rolling her eyes again.
"But we do grandmother told me all about her. How she was taking by the Society as a young girl after the explosion and how the ancestors thought it was smart to keep those memories of her away", Paige went on and on about the time her grandmother.
Aria was listening but she did not really care for this other girl. It was only she and Paige and that's all it should be. She was not worried about this girl, this girl did not know them and wasn't raised with them.
It was not until Paige said "She needs us both to break whatever she is under-" Aria cut her off.
"What do you mean break what she is under?", she asked thinking of the time when Kat was a different person after she had her pinned to the floor.
"You know like something is blocking her. How your magic was", Paige said.
"Yeah Paige I get it. Uhh well, we can talk about that once I get to you. I need to rest now. Let me know if anything else happens and I'll do the same", she said as she was cutting the link. No goddamn way, she thought as she rolled to her side to fall asleep.
