“Let her go,” Phoenix ordered.
He came up behind me and yanked me from my brother’s grip.
“Get him out of here,” Phoenix ordered.
“Stop!” Chase ordered. “The Alpha’s family was murdered last night.”
“Alpha Rufus’ family?” My voice cracked. “Everyone?”
Chase nodded. “That means Dad is the Alpha now. Rufus’ bloodline has gone.”
“You know Dad did this, right?” I stepped forward. “Are you crazy?!”
“I think you just haven’t grasped his vision. Mom and Dad are going to be announced as the pack’s new leaders this full moon. We all want you to be there. Your family wants you home, Josie. I travelled all this way to tell you that.”
