“I’m heading out with Charlotte. I’ll see you later.”
I grabbed her cheeks and kissed her before my six-year-old pounced into the room.
“Let’s go, Josie!” She demanded.
I needed to have a talk with her soon. I was tired of sneaking around. I was worried about how she’d react to me being with Josie.
Phoenix walked into the office after my mate and daughter. He kicked the door shut.
“Does Josie know about the dozen betas you sent into town to watch them?”
“She knows the threats. Is he coming?”
Phoenix nodded. “He’s waiting for Charlotte and Josie to leave.”
