Ep.15

“Emmalyn’s POV” Gulping audible, the man took the AKM; an automatic rifle, which was hanging on one of his shoulders, and handed it over to me. Now I was more than ready to flee from the place. At first, I had some hesitancies because I knew the guards were highly armed and a revolver wouldn’t be enough to help me flee from the place. Now that I was fully ready to get out, holding the man as a bait, I marched out of the room while moving my eyes all across the surroundings to check whether there were any other guards. To my surprise, the place was empty which made my way to the elevator much easier than I had expected. When I got out of the house, there were two guards at the gateway. Before they could see me, I changed my direction to the back of the house. Before climbing up the wall, I applied the same technique to make the man unconscious and finally got out. I was heading towards the road when I heard deep voices addressing me, “there’s the girl. Get her.” They were the guards of the same psycho who kidnapped me. As the leader amongst them ordered to get me, I ran away from them with all my might. When I reached the road, I hurried to get an empty taxi, still running to hide from the insane guards who were following me. I saw people stopping whatever they were doing and engaging their gaze at me while most of their mouths were halfway opened due to the unusual scene. Promptly, a taxi pulled its break beside me. I was stunned to witness it as I didn’t lift my hand nor asked the taxi to stop. The driver was way too helpful. He opened the door to assist me to get in. Maybe he knew I was in need of fleeing from the men following me. Without looking at the driver’s face, I got inside the taxi and shortly, it began moving. Racing faster, it got out from the sight of the guards. I exhaled a long puff of air when I thought it was over. But I was wrong. The next moment I saw two black jeeps following us. It’s when I turned my head towards the driver while adding, “speed up. They are following us in jeeps.” My eyes almost jumped out if it’s socket when I perceived the driver was the same man, who took me to the ATM last night. “Again you? Why you came here? So both the times it wasn’t a coincidence...,” I blurted with an untold amount of shock. “I don’t have time to explain it. Will hopefully reveal who I am later today,” smirking mischievously, he replied. Hoping it wasn’t a sign for another problem, I asked, “tell me in short. Or gimme a hint.” “In short, I need your help,” even though he disclosed, I couldn’t pay enough attention to his words as I saw one of the jeep getting closer to our car.
