“Emmalyn’s POV” These kinds of scenes weren’t my type unless I was playing to win inside the cage where both the players agree to all the injuries they will cause. I almost cried due to the immense hatred I got after witnessing their harsh behavior. I sat there, motionless for a moment while capturing the brutal acts of the ones whom I thought valued my opinion. When they didn’t stop, I bulged in between and held Micheal’s hand while yelling at the top of my voice, “I said stop it. I do not want any brutality.” I kept begging when Michael finally ordered them to stop the torture. When they all stepped aside, I threw a gaze at the man. His battery was low; his eyes were closed while his whole body was stained with blood. I felt nauseous seeing all this. Not that I haven’t caused any injury to anyone, but that was a totally different case; that was during the game. It’s when one of us yelled, “ He is dead. He is no more.” I thought they would be in sorrow, but I was utterly surprised, they all beamed with joy. Cheering while laughing their lungs out. I decided this was it. I didn’t want to be a part of this brutality. I grabbed Micheal’s hand and pulled him outside of the room. His questions filled eyes were directed towards me. “This is it. I was begging you to stop it. I can’t take it anymore. I don’t want to be a part of this. I am done with this criminal world. Never contact me hereafter,” I blurted in anger. I left the building while Micheal’s mouth was halfway open. Knew it was not that easy to leave a gang. I knew there would be certain consequences I had to face because of the decision I took. I was bewildered about where to go and what to do next. I had no plan to go back to my house as it would give me tons of memories which wouldn’t help me to heal the pain in my heart. My parent’s body was kept in the mortuary for the purpose of postmortem. My phone beeped. I took it out of my jeans pocket and clicked it open. It was a message from an unsaved number. “Terror Clark, there’s a man who invested $50,000 dollars in the winner of tonight. Venue; Parkgroans cage.” That was a huge amount for me. I needed that money as I had to pay my medical college fees. I had no one in this world. The only people whom I thought would value my opinion were nothing but merciless. I took my scooter from outside of my house and went to the address mentioned in the text. Parkgroan's Cage wasn’t new to me. I had already won multiple battles in the very same place. When I entered the main entrance, I heard the noises of people who were cheering. As I got near enough, the people who recognized me cheered for me and nominated my name.
