Bestfriend + Sleepover

FINALLY DONE!!!!
I am soo tired my legs are killing me from running around from here and there now I am done with my shift before leaving the counter I made myself a coffee and made myself a sandwich and took two yummy double chocolate chip cookie yeah don’t judge me I love chocolate and if its double I will take two of them after a tiring day I will make it three but even with my employee’s discount will make little holes in my saving account but the best part is I won’t have to clean the table and dishes after I am done. As I sat down munching on my sandwich I took out my phone to check if Daphne texted me it was blank except for the time showing on my locked screen , again pressing the button to show me the locked screen to see if I got a notification on my phone for Daphne’s msg but nill zipo but now I was lost in thought as to why she didn’t text me, maybe she doesn’t like me ,it was just one day thing , maybe somebody said something bad about me maybe that’s why she isn’t texting me back, why cant I make a decent friend why did I even come here when I am living the same life here as well. Why. Why. Why.
OUCH. I BIT MY FINGER.
YEAH in all that crazy I didn’t realize the last bite of my sandwich was so small that I bit my finger.
‘HAHAHAHHHHAAAAHAHAHAH’
Who the heck is laughing like a maniac and right in front of me on another table was Daphne laughing like a crazy clown. I bet she is laughing at me. After laughing she got up came over to my table sat on the chair opposite to me and took a bite of my cookie my Double Chocolate Cookie
“hey that’s mine and I don’t remember saying anything about sharing.” I said
“I know that’s why didn’t ask.” rolling her eyes at me
“you don’t get to roll your eyes at me where were you I literally broke my legs looking for u and I was late for my art class and also finding out that one of those top rankers of school is in my class” I said in a angry sulky way.
“I was looking for u too but I gave up looking as it was time for your class so I decided to meet u after your shift here, and wait which top ranker and why.”{DAPHNE}
“well u could have texted me u know and I don’t know I thought she was there on Darcy’s errand but she said she wanted to learn sketching .”{ME}
“my phone died and the and the charging point at library was all booked and that learning sketching thing sounds sketchy.”{Dpahne}
“It does sound like it but who knows maybe she wants to really learn it.”
“you trust people very easily if she wanted she can hire a professional top paid famous artist as her art tutor.’{Daphne}
“okay okay how about we drop this and I’ll keep an eye on her so did u finish all your work I didn’t even start”
“here I can help with the notes but the assignments you are on your own since teachers here can easily catch copied work .” {Daphne}
“ahhh thankyou thankyou Daphne u are my new bestfriend.”
“hey I am your only friend here.”{Daphne}
“hey did you just call youself my friend.’
“well duhh I don’t give my notes to acquaintances you know.”{Daphne}
“yaay I got a new friend who’s my bestfriend and for the record I am also your only friend here.”
Sticking out my tongue at her same time she does it as well and we break into laughter.
After coffee and cookie which I shared just this one time to treat my bestfriend we walked to my apartment before we go inside she says
“hey I.. can I sleepover at your house.” Asked Daphne and nervously waiting for a reply
And I was stunned wow this is finally happening and I didn’t know it will happen so fast.
But seeing as how I was stunned and not replying she backed up a little and said
“I am sorry we have only been friends for two days asking to crash at your place is..”
To stop her from rambling on I put my hand on her mouth and told her
“are you kidding its always been my dream to have sleepovers since the day I found out about sleepovers and u are welcomed anytime but we can’t have sleepover fun on weekdays.”
We both laughed and went inside the building to begin are sleepover journey.
