A Destiny That Was Never Written

~TAMARA'S P.O.V.~ KRIIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!! I reached up and turned off my alarm clock. It's 7 a.m. I stretched and went to the bathroom to brush. Looking at myself in the mirror,my long blond hair was sticking out everywhere covering my violet eyes. Shrugging, I brushed and dipped into the nice, warm water in the tub. I sighed and laid back. With the quiet atmosphere, I can't help but review my life. I'm a member of the Silverpaw Pack, I'm 18 years old and in college with a course of BS Biology. The difference, I'm a werewolf but I'm different or you could say weird, an abnormality. Werewolves are supposed to change from being human to a wolf when they have their 18th birthday but I'm already 18 and I still can't shift. However, I can talk with my wolf who eventually like me, doesn't know what's going on either. My wolf's name is Lyra. Maybe I might be something else just like the humans write on their legends and stories. They always are very creative and great psychics. Their legends about us always hits the right ones but their exaggerated view on our monstrosity had always been the reason why they can't view or find the truth but that's how it should be. We need to be hidden. I sighed and got up, what in the world am I even thinking? I have better things to do, like packing. Tying my robe properly, I passed by my study table and stopped, the picture frame on my line of focus, a picture of my parents. "Alpha!!"Jasper,my father's beta,shouted in a panicking voice. My father who was carrying me looked up. "We're under attack!!It's the Rawblood!!"Jasper said. I looked at my father and horror was plastered in his face. Then he looked at me and gave me a small smile, his expression without the trace of the one I saw earlier. "Sweetie,go with uncle Japer and hide ok?Daddy and mommy will be right back."He said and kissed the top my head, giving me no time to ask why. He immediately handed me to Jasper but I managed to kiss daddy for the last time,unable to say anything,and finally let go of his hand. Jasper hid me in my room,under a secret compartment in the floor. He warned me to stay inside and closed the trapdoor and there was darkness all around. After almost 10 minutes of silence,I heard screams inside the house but one scream caught my ears,my mother's scream. I got up and pushed hard,the trapdoor opened and I got out and ran to the screams. When I passed by a room, I stopped and slowly opened the door. The most horrifying thing greeted me. In front of me is my bleeding mother hugging my father's dead body, my own body froze. When my mother felt my presence, she smiled despite her tears and turned to me, I felt dread when she smiled. "Be strong my dear,I'm sorry 'cause neither me or your father will be there in the future to guide you."She said in a weak voice. I started crying and ran to her. She held my face with her bloody hands and looked me in the eye. "Tamara,listen to me,You're different from any other werewolf ,you have something powerful within you and when the time comes it will come out and when that time comes I want you to learn to control it. Be kind and be understanding all the time. Can you promise to do all this things?"I did not answer and just sat there crying. "Tamara Jane Jones,promise me,please?For me and for your daddy?"My mom repeated while wiping my tears away. I nodded and she kissed me. "Control,be kind and understanding."I repeated over and over again until I felt my mother's hand loosened. At 5 years old, I lost my parents. Soon,the Silverpaw pack arrived to help but they were too late. Jasper found me,passed out beside my dead parents. I was supposed to be the Alpha but I was too young so Jasper was put as the temporary alpha until I reached the proper age but my parent's death devastated me and I lost all my self-confidence. When I was 7, I wasn't a child anymore and I decided to leave my pack for good. Jasper begged me to stay but finally let me go after laying out a condition,I will be joining the Silverpaw pack to avoid being a rouge,a rebel werewolf,to this I agreed. Someone knocked at the door taking me back to reality. I found Tim, a pack member, at the door when I opened the door. "B-b-bre-ea-k-fast is re-e-a-dy." he stuttered and ran away. Tim don't have any speaking problems,he's just scared of me. After my 18th birthday a month ago and nothing happened,rumors started spreading that I'm cursed. Many people started avoiding me,some people are disgusted with me,some are scared while some are mostly mean to me. I just ignored them and didn't pay any attention to them but sometimes it really does hurt, emotionally at least. They can't hurt me physically because I'm still an Alpha's daughter. Only uncle Cody,the Alpha and my father's old friend, and his Luna,aunt Bella,understands me and was always kind to me. I closed the door and got ready. I never really lacked anything despite the rumors about me. I have alpha blood that's why I still live normally in a normal room. The problem is that I'm not that interested in clothes and stuff like that so my wardrobe only contains clothes I found comfortable or was interested with. Whatever, it's not like my mate notice anyway.
