》 Colline I climbed off Isaac and laid beside him, sweaty and out of breath. Isaac pulled the covers up and he turned to face me. "That also your first time?" "Yes." I said to him. "Glad I was the first." He smirked. I just let out a slight smile. Just then, his fingers traced down my lips. "God, you're so beautiful." Right there, his fingers were on my chin as his lips pressed on mine. We pulled away, and he was looking at me. Before standing up and getting dressed. "Where are you going?" I asked him, sitting up. "Going to help the others. You should get dressed as well." After I got dressed, Isaac sat down next to me. "I have to go." He says. "Promise me, you'll take care." He held my hand. Intertwining his fingers with mine. "I promise." I said to him. He smiled and kissed my forehead. He left and I was left with silence. "How sweet was that?" I looked into the doorway, a bulky guy was standing there. "Who are you?" I asked. "Someone." He walked towards me. "Colline McCall, such a pretty face." He says, tracing his fingers to my cheek. "It would be a shame if someone put a scratch to it." Suddenly I felt pain on my cheek. I held it, it was bleeding. I had a scratch on my cheek. Realizing he had done that. I tried to run but he held me back and injected me with something. But it made my eyes droopy. I felt myself pass out. ; THIRD PERSON POV Chris Argent throws the last of his groceries at the back of his car. He shuts them as he turns around, pulling out his gun, only to be greeted by Scott's appearance. "Uh, hi." Scott stutters. From afar, Isaac and Derek watches. "Do you think this is gonna work?" Isaac asks Derek. "Nope." Derek responds. "Me neither." Isaac says. "So your, uh... your sister..." Isaac says to Derek. Trying o make small talk. Derek shot daggers at him. "Sorry, yeah, it's... It's bad timing, I'm sorry." Isaac says, averting his gaze onto Scott and Chris. "I'll ask later. It's fine." Isaac says. Derek glares at him again, "Or never. Yeah, yeah, I'm good with never." "First of all, why would I care about anyone related to Derek? And second, I don't know this kid Boyd." Chris says, his gun still pointed at Scott. "I don't even know his last name." "Boyd is his last name." Scott says to him, "What's his first name?" Chris asks. "Vernon." "And just curious, is there a reason the gun is still pointed at me?" Scott asks, a little nervous. "Well, there's probably still some part of me that wants to shoot you." Chris says, truthfully. "I get that." Scott answers. Chris sighs and tucks the gun away. "Scott, I watched my father brainwash my daughter... Almost turn her into a killer." He says as he steps closer to him. "That world... your world decimated mine. My wife, sister, father, my entire family." Chris continues. "Why would I ever step foot in it again?" "Because people are going to die. And because you know how to catch Boyd and Cora without killing them." Scott tries to reason with him. Chris looks at him momentarily before speaking, "I'm sorry. I can't help you." He says and starts to head inside his car. "Um... Do you think you could do me, like, one little, tiny favor?" Scott says, Chris narrows his eyes at him. Scott had asked him if he could get a ride at the public pool. With a plan to make Chris see what the situation is. "Left or straight?" Chris asks. "Left. Sorry. It's right around the corner. That parking lot there." Scott points as they come across a crime scene. A body that has been heavily murdered was being loaded into an ambulance. "Yeah, just a little further up, right here." Scott says. Chris looks at the scene, whilst Scott says, "Thanks again for the ride." Chris held Scott, asking, "They did this? Boyd and..." Trying to remember Derek's younger werewolf sister. "Cora." Scott replies. Chris looked like he was thinking, he changed his answer and asked, "Where's the last place you saw them?" They were all back at the woods, Chirs lays down a bag, probably for hunting stuff. "You're tracking them by print?" Chris asks, squatting down. "Trying to." Scott says. "Well, then, you've been wasting your time. There's only one creature on earth that can visually track footprints, and that's man." He says, standing up. "And if you're not trained like me, you have no idea that this print is Boyd's and these," Chris points to the right side of the ground. -"are Cora's." Isaac says. "Nope. They're yours. You trampled Cora's as soon as you walked over here." Isaac looks down consciously. "Listen, I know the three of you are focusing half your energy on resisting your own urges under the full moon, but that puts you at a severe disadvantage to Boyd and Cora, who have fully given in. They put the pedal to the floor where you three are barely hitting the speed limit." Chris points out. "So what do we do?" Derek asks. "Focus on your sense of smell. Actual wolves are known to track their prey by up to a hundred Miles a day by scent. A trained hunter can use scent to track them. If the wind is with them, wolves can track a scent by a distance of two Miles, which means we can draw them to us... Or into a trap." Chris says. Meanwhile, Allison was in the woods as well, trying to trap Boyd and Cora. "Full moon does give us one advantage. They'll have a higher heat signature, which makes them easier to spot with infrared." Derek tosses infrared googles to Scott, Isaac and Derek. "Thanks, but I've got my own." Derek says, flashing his red alpha eyes. "Just remember, we're not hunting wild animals. Underneath those impulses are two intelligent human beings. Don't think they can't rely on that human side. It's suppressed, but it's there, reminding them how to mask their scent, how to cover their tracks, how to survive." Chris reminds them as they into the woods. "When's the last time you saw your sister?" Chris asks Derek. ""Nine years. I thought she died in the fire." Derek says. "Do you feel like you have a lock on her scent?" Chris asks. Derek shook his head. "Scott, how confident are you in your skills?" Chris asks him. "Honestly, most of the time, I'm trying not to think about all the things I can smell." Scott admits. "All right. The problem is when they breach the woods and hit the residential area. Once they're past the high school, they're right in the middle of beacon hills." Chris looks onto the scenery before him. "They're not gonna kill everything they see, are they?" Isaac asks, worried. "No. But there is an important difference to recognize. Wolves hunt for food. At a certain point, they get full. But Boyd and Cora are hunting for the pleasure of the kill, for some primal apex predatory satisfaction that comes from the ripping of warm bodies to bloody shreds. And who knows when that need gets satiated?" Chris says. "We can't kill them." Scott tries to reason. "What if we can't catch 'em?" Derek asks. "Then maybe we just need to contain them. There's no one in the school at night, is there?" Chris asks. "You want to trap them inside?" Derek asks, raising an eyebrow. "If there's somewhere with a strong enough door, no windows or access to the outside." Chris says. "What about the boiler room? It's just one big steel door." Isaac suggests. "You're sure the school's empty?" Chris asks, making sure. "It has to be. There can't be anyone there this late, right?" Scott says. But inside the school was Miss Blake, still grading papers. "These are ultrasonic emitters. It's one of the tools we use to corral werewolves, pushing them into a direction we want them to run." Chris says, turning it on. "Gives off a high-pitched frequency that only they can hear." He looks up, all three werewolves covering their ears. "God, no kidding!" Isaac groans. "These are gonna drive them to the school?" Derek asks as he hands them the emitters. "And then it's up to you to get them into the basement." Chris says. "Does anyone else want to rethink the plan where we just, uh, kill 'em?" Isaac asks. "It's going to work. It'll work." Scott reassures him. // 》Scott It was finally morning, a whole night of chasing Derek's sister, Cora, and Boyd. Isaac told me he left Colline at Derek's loft. I opened the door to Derek's loft and to my surprise, it was empty. I went in, and so did Isaac. "Well that was weird, I could've sworn I left her here." Isaac says, looking around. "Maybe she went home." Isaac added. I heard my phone rang, it was my mom. "Scott? Do you know where Colline is? She hasn't come home since last night." "Or maybe not." Isaac says. "Then where is she?" I looked onto the bed, there was a drop of blood onto the blankets. I tried to catch a scent, but all I got was Isaac's and....Colline's. "Isaac..." My voice trailed off. "Yes?" Isaac looked at me. "What did you and Colline did after we left?" I asked him. "What do you mean?" He asks. I tossed him the blanket and he put his nose into it. His eyes went wide. "This is going to sound really bad, but it was the heat of the moment-" "You had s*x with my sister?!" "No! Oh gosh no! I just kissed her." "How did you kiss her?" I asked. "Well, there's a bit of heat and passion and-" I cut him off, "Okay, I get it." "So, you're not mad?" Isaac asks lowly. "I'll be mad if you had s*x with my sister. Which of course, I trust you, you didn't." I said to him. Just then my phone rang, it was Stiles. "Hey, Scott, I need you at the hospital. Now." Stiles said. "Human sacrifices?" "Yes. Scott. These three had something in similar and they were all virgins." Stiles says. "Couldn't that just been a coincidence?" I said. "A coincidence that they were all killed the same way? Strangled. Throat slashed and head-banged? This is definitely not a coincidence." Stiles says. "Stiles." I whisper. Realizing something. "What?" "Colline's missing." I stated. Could Colline be a part of the human sacrifice? "What? Where - Where was the last place you saw her?" Stiles asks. "Derek's loft." "Scott. We need to find your sister. Now." Stiles says, walking out of the hospital doors and me following him. I got into my bike and drove home as fast as possible. I went inside the house, and immediately went to her room. "Colline!" The lights were off, I turned them on. And there I saw, the Alpha I saw at the hospital the other day to save Isaac. He had Colline sit on a chair and her mouth was tied up and he had his claws close to her neck. "Ah. So glad you finally get to see your sister." He traced his one claw down her arm. "Let her go." I said. Claws forming out of my hands. "Gladly." The Alpha smirked and he slahsed his claws onto her throat. Colline fell down on the floor with a thud as I ran to her holding her in my arms. As the Alpha ran out the window. "Scott...." Her voice was weak. "Shhh. It's okay, I'm here." I felt tears spill out of my eyes. "Scott!" Stiles shouted from the stairs. As I heard his footsteps by the corridor, "Call 911." I said. He immediately called and we took her to the hospital. Mom was freaked but Colline was going to be fine. --Colline Here I lay, in a hospital bed, completely weak. Scott enters the room, along with Stiles and Isaac. My heart immediately races as our eyes meet. "Hey sis, how are you doing?" Scott asks. "A little better." I smile up at him. "I'm sorry I left you alone." Scott says. "I promised myself I wouldn't let anything happen to you and-" "Scott, it's not your fault." I reassure him. "Yeah Scott, it's Isaac's fault for even leaving in the first place." Stiles mumbles. Isaac shoots Stiles a look, but before he could say anything, I spoke, "It's no one's fault, okay?" "You could've been really hurt or worse." Scott says. "What do you mean worse? This isn't the worst? Getting your throat slashed by a werewolf?" I tried to joke. "Colline, you could've been turned." Stiles says quietly. "I thought it was just a bite that could turn you?" I ask. "If the claws go deep enough, you could be turned." //
