A Sweet Sensation
She stared into the mirror, thinking, thinking, thinking. Who was she supposed to be this time?  Her long, luscious blond hair and an ample bosom awaited his touch.  What? But the beautiful eyes of blue told the story of a love so fresh, so clean.   Nothing left was to lose or else.  Never mind the madness.  She would just wait on love of her life at the door.  She heard a loud clamor coming down the hallway and a brisk footfall on the tile.  She heard a voice demanding three hours privacy for him and his queen.  How brillantly his voice resounded in the wide corridor.  The doorknob turned and he came into the threshold, exclaiming his ardent love and his intentions for her.  Oh, jessie, I am aching with desire for your cool calculating touch.  She trembled with the thought of him, the ache of him in her memory.  She clasped both arms around the sheer joy of him.  The air went cold, then hot, then cold again, pulsating light and sound all at once.  The waves crashed into the sea, amid the bounding winds of the night.  They lay together and they were sated for the moment, the minute, the hour.  A gentle wind accompanied his breath and laid its sweet dream upon her brow.  He never understood how he ever came to be so lucky, so fantastically lucky to be newly married to such a woman, a queen worth his time, his world.  It is just what was due him, loving so hard and so long.  He had earned the fanfare, the accolades from the crowd.  And her copious compliments filled his brow with a pride, so fierce was it.  He never saw what love was until Jessie!  Jessie was love entrenched, smothered, ripened to an swift opulence.  She was as fine and as beautiful as when she lay there feeling his love was as big as the world, the UNIVERSE!  She never felt a love that was like an arrow until she felt his love, cupids arrow aimed at her heart and soul.  The time was spent in retrospect, long time coming.  He felt her climb out of the abyss, her soul touching his as she let go of everything, any way she could.  How many more times.  How many more would she ever feel this way.  How many more times?  Never a frown with golden brown.  Throughout the night, no need to fight.  Two distant lands, takes both my hands.  Aaron rang a gong that night!  All the time, he rang it and then he rang it again.  Fortune smiled its lucky day for the fine time, a fine treasure to seek.  Aaron never knew about the bad things people did to each other, he was oblivious to everything he did not see.  He let it lay untouched for days, weeks, years.  She could never leave it just lay, but he could.  He never minded the things people did or said because it just didn't affect him, he was like never minding anything but her.  He was unknowing of many things and that was all for the best.  Some things were just better left unknown.  Hurtful things.  Spinning wheel spins.   The hurtful things are best left unknown.  He did not need to feel this pain, he had no idea.  Just like when I was young, I never knew about child abuse  until I had question my mother one day in the apartment complex parking lot.  She never told me before.  I had no idea that this went on the world until that day.  A boy I knew from school.  His dad worked for the apartment complex, same as my uncle ray and my grandpa.  I did not know alot of things that went on in the world.  Terrible things, things that had no reason to be.   I remember being young and being oblivious to such things.  But I remember things and I am too aware of it now, the evil in people, the twisted way of the world.  And God?  A farce, a way to feel better about dying and your sins and pay your way to redemption.   Religion is money.   Aaron showed me about the beautiful things to be had in this world.  He showed me how to only see the good, not the bad.  He was my hero, my true hero.  He only had love in his heart.  And s*x on his mind.  Oh, how he loved me down to my bones.  It makes me want him like it always did, A twist of date and fortune brought him to me.  I wonder even now how I ever got to be one of the lucky ones, I count my lucky stars everyday that his love was mine to hold in my hand.  He was the most beautiful boy around.  Twice as hard to swallow the pill down.  Three times as hard.  I knew a little bit about heartache but never as much as with him dying on his parent's living room floor.  I never felt like the world just stopped until then.  It is hard to forget the one you love dying like that.  It never quite stops hurting.  It is like a film in your head that you can replay over again, you know, a bad movie come to life.  Hopefully there will come a time that you stop watching it replay as much, the edges getting fuzzy, the screen darkening.  But you can always hear it, the death of him.  And that hurts.  It comes, bringing memories of you, my love, my lover, my everything.  I surely miss the secret times we shared and the feeling of your body against mine.  And your hands, finding secret places only you could know.  You were the best love I ever had.  The days we spent searching for the perfect way to celebrate.  Deciding on the usual party of two.  A spellbinding love of mine I kept in my heart and in the memories of days.  I never met another love like yours, my desire and yours felt like windswept torrents of cascading rain.
