As I stood there in fear of what Conner was going to do to me for screaming at him, he looked puzzled, like he was confused. "GET OUT!" my new mate screamed at him and he left. I looked at this man and said thank you to him. He was beautiful, sand colored hair, green eyes, over 6'5, he was perfect. But how, how could he be mine? "I'm Mason" he told me. "I'm Jordan, I'm sorry for all of that." I said shyly. "You're perfectly fine, are you ok? I can see all of your bruises and cuts, and your nose is broken" he looked sad as he said it. "I'm ok I'm used to it" i said to him. He gently touched my cheek, I was nervous so of course I flinched a bit & you could tell it broke his big ol heart. "What happened here? What is all of this about them killing your family?" he asked, concerned. I explained everything to him. I couldn't help myself but open up to him, I had to, I needed to. Meanwhile in my mind Sydney is pacing back and forth, she's so happy she can barley hold it in. "Come with me please, were going to see the "alpha" of this so called pack". I followed behind him, scared of what the alpha will do to me now.

As we walked up to the alphas door, I started shaking and crying, before I knew it Mason had my hand in his, which felt magical, and he was soothing me, comforting me. I didn't pull away, flinch or run, instead I accepted it. We walked into the alphas office, and Conner was there next to his father. Vile beasts, the both of them. They stared at us as we walked in, hand in hand. Both mouths dropped. "Now tell me, "Alpha" what happened to my mates family?!" he yelled. Was he an alpha too? I wondered because when he told Conner to get out earlier he literally ran. "They killed themselves because of their hatred for her, and we kindly took her in, that's all" he smirked. "That's definitely not what happened, my mate has told me everything" he shouted. "Did she tell you she's a w***e?
